    Hi Marine,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’re comfortable with making customizations to change the look and feel of our plugins, then you should have no problems implementing this type of months listing on your event archives! Our Themer’s Guide provides all the info that you should need to get started with template customizations, including a complete listing of our base template files and helpful suggestions for working with our code:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

While providing specific suggestions or writing code for this type of customization is beyond the scope of our support services, we’re happy to try and point users in the right direction where possible. If you should have any questions as you’re developing this feature, feel free to reach to our support team on the appropriate forum for your plugin, and we’ll be glad to see what we can do to assist. πŸ™‚

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    HiΒ Shailesh,

Happy to help! You’ll need to make sure that Community Tickets is also installed and activated on your site for RSVP and ticket options to appear when submitting events from the front end. Our New User Primer for Community Tickets may be helpful as you’re working through the installation and setup process for this plugin!

Let me know if setting up this additional plugin helps to resolve your issue here! πŸ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Richard,

Happy to hear that you’re giving Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus a try with your setup! πŸ™‚ While there’s no built-in way to limit RSVPs or ticket sales to one per person at this time, you may be able to achieve this effect with a template customization–simply set the default ticket quantity to a value of “1”, then hide or disable the quantity field in code. You can learn more about template customizations and other behavior modifications for our plugins on our Themer’s Guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

If you’d like to limit registration to registered users only, happily, this feature is provided as a built-in option in your plugin settings. You’ll find these options under the Login requirements heading:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-event-tickets/

When logged-in users RSVP to one of your events, their names and email addresses will be filled in automatically, so you shouldn’t need to worry about users being prompted to enter this information multiple times. These fields are still requested in case a user would like to RSVP with another name or email address–if you’d like to remove them entirely, I’d suggest exploring some ways to hide the fields using the template provided in the above Themer’s Guide. πŸ™‚

Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Ashley,

Thanks for reaching out! Event Tickets Plus does not handle payment processing on its own and pairs instead with a third-party e-commerce plugin for all transactions and order management. Credit card fees may be applied in differing amounts depending on your selected payment gateway(s). I’d suggest reviewing the supported payment gateways for both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads to see what options might make the most sense for you! Here are some links to get you started:

I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns. Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks for reaching out! Our Filter Bar plugin comes ready to use with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO straight “out of the box”–no need to handle any code for basic configuration tasks. Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, you’ll see a tab for Filters added to your calendar and event settings. Navigate to Events > Settings from your WordPress admin’s sidebar, click the Filters tab, and you’ll be ready to start setting up your filters. You can read more about the various options available for configuring Filter Bar on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-filter-bar/

I hope that helps to address your concerns here–are there any more questions that I can assist you with? πŸ™‚ Thanks again!

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’d be more than glad to try and answer these questions for you! πŸ™‚

    1. Unfortunately, our Community Events plugin does not include any options for paid event submissions at this time. However, this feature is slated to be included as part of a future product update! You can keep up with the progress of this feature in development here on our UserVoice forum. An option to consider in the meantime might be changing your plugin settings to allow event submissions from registered users only, then charging users to have an account created for them. This option might work for you if you only need users to pay one time to have the ability to submit events.
    2. Registered users of any type can submit or edit their own events, and they will only be granted access to other site functions that are associated with their role. They also won’t have the ability to edit the events of other users. You can learn more about WordPress user roles and their capabilities on the WordPress documentation here.
    3. While the ability to charge users for event submissions is not yet available, you can allow users to submit events to your calendar using the Community Events plugin. You can find more information on this add-on for our calendar plugins, including pricing options, at the following product page:Β https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

I hope that helps to get you started here! Cheers, and thanks again for reaching out!

    Hi there,

Thanks for following up! Yes, that’s correct! Event Tickets Plus uses the shopping cart functionality that’s built in to WooCommerce, so you can add tickets from different dates to one shopping cart and purchase them all at once. If you’d like to change the name “Event” in the plugin to something else, such as “Trip”, this Knowledgebase article may be helpful!

    Hi Rob,

Glad to hear that our Knowledgebase documentation on QR codes was helpful to you! Thanks for the note on in-app browser limitations for the QuickMark application. After completing some further testing on our end, it does appear that there’s no way to access the in-app browser before scanning a QR code. We’ll be sure to update our documentation this week to clarify the process for using this application with another browser. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know! πŸ™‚

Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that our calendar plugins The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO do not include any built-in features to support this type of functionality. πŸ™ If you’re interested in incorporating this type of mechanism into your site’s calendar, I’d suggest reaching out to a third-party developer to obtain a custom quote for your project. We maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our plugins and who would be more than happy to discuss your project needs in greater depth! πŸ™‚

    Hi Arjan,

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that! It looks as though we may not have received your previous email, but this one seems to have landed in our inbox just fine–we’ll make sure to research this and follow up with you as soon as possible! πŸ™‚

I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out so we can continue our conversation over in email. Thanks so much, and please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do to assist!

    Hi Huzan,

Thanks for following up! I’m afraid that no, this type of functionality is not built in to Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus by default. Since only one person can complete a given booking for RSVPs or tickets and additional attendees can only be specified via custom fields, all tickets will be sent to the purchasing user. πŸ™ If this feature is absolutely crucial to your project, I’d suggest reaching out to a third-party developer to obtain a quote for a custom build. We do maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our products and who would be happy to discuss the details of your project!

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

I’m so sorry to disappoint, but I hope I was able to help clarify things a bit and provide some options for moving forward here! Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns. Cheers, and thanks again!
