    Hi George,

Thanks for following up! Of course–happy to clarify on these two points for you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I’m sorry for the confusion here! The Export Events button, when clicked, will download an ICS file containing all of the displayed events for that particular view. So, for instance, if the button is clicked when viewing events for the month of December, the downloaded ICS file will contain all events in December. However, you can also copy the URL from this button and paste it into a third-party application to automatically sync all events from that calendar. You can try this for yourself with the export URL from our WP Shindig demo site:ย http://wpshindig.com/?ical=1
    2. Yes, absolutely! Your visitors will be able to subscribe to calendar events just as indicated in the linked article. Your calendar’s RSS feed URL is automatically embedded into your calendar pages, so any users who attempt to subscribe to your main calendar page will have the correct RSS feed URL imported into their application of choice. If you’d like to add your own link to your calendar’s RSS feed, you can use the URL structure provided in the article linked above and place a link wherever you’d like.

Regarding your Google Calendar, unfortunately, automatically syncing events from The Events Calendar back to Google is not supported by Google’s systems. However, you can export events manually using the Export Events button and import those events into Google Calendar via manual upload. Google’s documentation provides more information on how to import ICS files into Google Calendar:ย https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37118?hl=en

I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that I can do to assist!

    Hi George,

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out! I’d be more than glad to answer these questions for you today. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. By default, The Events Calendar’s events are defined with their own custom post type, and they won’t appear in your standard blogroll. However, you can change this behavior, if you’d like. This Knowledgebase article highlights the setting for displaying events in your blogroll:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/listing-events-with-your-sites-blog-posts/
    2. Events imported from Facebook using Event Aggregator will retain their own timezone as long as your timezone settings are specified properly. For more information on using timezones with our plugins, please refer to the following Knowledgebase article:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/working-with-timezones/
    3. The setting specified above will allow you to display all events with your blog posts–if you’d prefer to integrate only specific events with your posts, you can create a custom query to pull blog posts along with certain events. This Knowledgebase article provides more information on crafting queries to pull event posts:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-event-queries/
    4. There is no limit to the number of events that can be imported in a given day with Event Aggregator. However, there is a limit on the number of scheduled imports that can be performed in a given day, which is determined by your product license tier. Check out this Knowledgebase article for more information on EA import limits:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregators-import-limits-work/
    5. See above! ๐Ÿ™‚
    6. We’ve provided basic styling for all calendar views that should integrate easily with the vast majority of WordPress themes. If you’d like to change the display of your events, you can make adjustments via the WordPress Customizer or delve into deeper customization with our Themer’s Guide:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
    7. The Themer’s Guide linked above should provide all the information that you need to get started with customizations!
    8. The Events Calendar events can be exported into iCal/ICS format for use with third-party applications. Check out our Knowledgebase article here for the details:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/exporting-events/
    9. Yes! RSS feeds are provided for all event views and are a great way to keep tabs on events from your favorite sites–you can even subscribe to specific categories of events. This article should cover all the bases regarding RSS feeds and our plugins!ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/subscribing-calendars-via-rss/

    Hi Mari,

Thanks for reaching out–great question! Since Event Tickets Plus does not handle any payment processing or order management on its own, this type of functionality would need to be found in your e-commerce platform of choice (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). I’d suggest pairing WooCommerce with the WooCommerce Product Bundles extension, which allows for the creation of bundles with one or more WooCommerce products of any quantity. However, it’s worth noting that bundles created using this extension will not display on the event pages with your individual tickets. If you choose to use this method for selling bundles, you may wish to sell your tickets and bundles together from the WooCommerce products page. We’ve provided a guide on how to do just that right here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    Hi George,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! It looks like you’ve got plenty of questions, so I’ll do my best to answer them here–let me know if I’ve overlooked anything, and I’ll be more than happy to loop back around for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Should you choose to let your product subscriptions with us lapse, you’ll lose access to new feature releases, product updates and bug fixes, and our premium support help desk. However, you won’t lose any existing events or settings on your site. You can always choose to renew at a later date to regain access to our full suite of premium features.
    2. While we don’t offer any integrations with competing event plugins at this time, we do offer plenty of import options for bringing events from external platforms into The Events Calendar. Our free version of The Events Calendar includes support for CSV-based imports; with Event Aggregator, you can add on import functionality for Facebook, iCalendar, Google Calendar, and more. You can learn more about the features available with Event Aggregator on its product page here:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
    3. The Events Calendar makes use of its own custom post type (tribe_events) and cannot display events created using other plugins or post types.
    4. Absolutely! You can check out our premium product pages to see a feature breakdown between each plugin and its free counterpart. Here’s the Events Calendar PRO product page to get you started:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
    5. Great question! To prevent database overload when creating massive numbers of events, Events Calendar PRO limits the creation of events to a certain period of time from the current date. As time passes, new events will be created and appended to your calendar. For more information on this functionality and how to configure it, you can refer to our Knowledgebase article on recurring events:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
    6. Yes, licenses can be easily moved from one WordPress site to another as needed. Check out our Knowledgebase article on moving license keys for the full details.ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
    7. Yes, you can choose a category to be added to your events when creating a new import with Event Aggregator. Our Knowledgebase article on importing with Event Aggregator provides more information on how to set this up!ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Goh,

Thanks so much for your interest in Event Tickets Plus! I’d be more than glad to answer these questions for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. By default, ticket buyers are shown a small sampling of form fields when purchasing, such as name and billing address. Additional fields can be added using the Attendee Information option available with Event Tickets Plus. This Knowledgebase article provides more details on the feature and how to use it:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/
    2. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the notification email address for ticket sales on a per-event basis. If you’re interested in adding this feature, I’d suggest exploring options for customization using our Themer’s Guide for reference. Or, if you’d prefer, you may wish to hire a third-party customizer to build this functionality for you! We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Minda,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’d like to designate a non-administrator user to view attendee reports and/or check in users at your events, you can use the Contributor user role for this purpose. For more information on working with attendee reports using this user type, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Great question–while Event Aggregator will not duplicate the same event imported from the same source, it’s currently not able to identify matching events from different sources. If you want to ensure that duplicate events are not published immediately to your calendar with each import task, you can adjust your plugin settings to have newly-imported events set to draft status. Duplicate events can then be excluded manually, and any remaining events can be published all at once. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Kristen,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! I’m sorry to report that we don’t offer any support for dynamic pricing with our plugins at this time. ๐Ÿ™ While not a guarantee, this functionality may be achievable for Event Tickets Plus via customizations and/or extensions for your chosen e-commerce platform (WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). However, this type of modification would be beyond the scope of what we here in support could assist with.

Regarding the Altru platform, we don’t currently offer any built-in integrations for this service. That said, we’d be glad to receive your request for this feature, if you’d like to connect with us over on our UserVoice forum! ๐Ÿ™‚
