    Hi Kristy,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! It definitely sounds like Events Calendar PRO and Community Events should provide all the functionality that your client is seeking here, including the ability to restrict event submissions to registered users only (and disable those accounts later, if needed). Unfortunately, we don’t have any plans to extend these two products to non-WordPress platforms at this time. I’m so sorry to disappoint. πŸ™

You may be interested in learning more about Lumin, our upcoming hosted solution that provides calendar functionality for WordPress and non-WordPress site platforms. While user-submitted events will not be an available feature at launch, you may find that a working solution is possible, either with manual addition of approved events or with one or more third-party integrations. For more information on the Lumin product and how to sign up for early access, check out our recent blog post on the subject here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/sneak-peek-lumin/

I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Michael,

At this time, we aren’t aware of any outstanding issues that could cause this type of problem to occur on your site. You can always keep track of known issues with our plugins by following the latest updates to our Known Issues page:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/

Unfortunately, I’m afraid that I’m not able to assist with further site-specific troubleshooting here in our pre-sales forum. πŸ™ I’d suggest going ahead and submitting a new post to our WordPress.org forum linked above, where one of our technical team members will be more than glad to continue the conversation.

Thanks again, and we hope to see you soon over on WordPress.org!

    Hi Danny,

Thanks for reaching out–happy to clarify this for you! Our import tiers for Event Aggregator refer to the number of import tasks that can be scheduled in a given day. There is no limit on the number of events that can be imported in each task! For example, you could use the 100-imports-per-day tier to import any number of events from across 10 separate sites, 1-10 times per day. However, if you tried to import from those same 10 sites once every hour in the day, you’d hit your limit before completing a day’s worth of 120 import tasks. This Knowledgebase article provides more details on how imports count against your daily limits:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregators-import-limits-work/

I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any lingering questions after giving our documentation a look over! πŸ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks so much for applying to our nonprofit partnership program! πŸ™‚ Unfortunately, per our program terms and conditions, we are unable to provide full or partial refunds for previous purchases of paid licenses. I’d suggest continuing to use your premium license for the time being and holding off on purchasing your nonprofit license until May. If your nonprofit discount coupon has expired by the time you’re ready to place an order, simply reach out to us by email, and we’ll be glad to supply you with a new code.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Belinda,

Thanks for reaching out! Our Community Events plugin supports event submissions from users of all types, including unregistered users (if your settings are configured to allow anonymous submissions). Registered users may also be granted the ability to log in and edit their event submissions. You can learn more about the available settings for Community Events on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/community-events-settings/

    Hi William,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we haven’t personally tested our plugins with this particular theme, you should find that most well-implemented themes that follow WordPress development standards work well with our products. For more information on third-party software compatibility with our plugins, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/third-party-compatibility-events-calendar-plugins/

It’s worth noting that a BuddyPress integration for The Events Calendar and its related plugins does exist, though we aren’t affiliated with the developer and are unable to provide support for their plugin. Still, it might be an option worth exploring for your setup! πŸ™‚

    https://shop.opentuteplus.com/product/buddypress-events-calendar-plugin/?v=7516fd43adaa

I’d suggest that the best way to proceed would be to purchase our products and try them out with your preferred themes. Should you decide that our plugins aren’t the best fit for your setup, you’ll be covered for a full refund under our 30-day refund policy.

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Charles,

Thanks so much for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! I’m pleased to report that PRO’s recurrence options absolutely do support this type of pattern. The following screenshot provides an example of how you might set up this type of series:

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for your interest in Event Tickets Plus! πŸ™‚ Since Event Tickets Plus pairs with a separate e-commerce platform for payment processing, any payment gateway for WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads that supports the naira currency should work just fine. Though we haven’t tested this service directly, you may wish to look into VoguePay. This Nigeria-based company provides support for payments in naira, and a WooCommerce integration is available to make it work with Event Tickets Plus.

    https://voguepay.com

The WooCommerce payment gateway for VoguePay can be found here:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/voguepay-woocommerce-payment-gateway/

I hope that helps to get you started! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

If you’re experiencing technical difficulties regarding an unrelated purchase, please reach out to the appropriate support services for your product or products.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for taking the time to test that for me with Events Calendar PRO disabled! At a glance, I’d suggest that this issue might be due to a conflict with your site’s theme, especially if you’ve switched themes in the time between your last use of the plugin. That said, our technical team over on our WordPress.org forums will be best equipped to help you with further troubleshooting!

Would you mind opening a new thread over on our WordPress.org support forums with some details on this issue and a rundown of any troubleshooting steps you’ve previously attempted? One of our team members will be on hand to assist as soon as possible!

Thanks so much–we look forward to continuing the conversation there! πŸ™‚

    Hi Jim,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, our calendar plugins aren’t able to pull event data from external sources such as MySQL databases at this time. However, our Event Aggregator add-on does include support for importing event data from a variety of formats, including CSV, iCalendar/ICS, Google Calendar, Facebook, and more. If you’re able to output your MySQL data to a supported format, this add-on might be an option worth considering! You can learn more about Event Aggregator on its product page here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/

I hope that helps to get you started here! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Mike,

I’m so sorry to hear that you feel that way–I can assure you that as one of our most requested features, the addition of recurring tickets support remains a high priority for our development team. Unfortunately, it can be challenging to provide ETAs for specific features due to the way that development tasks are prioritized within our sprints. Furthermore, the development of this particular feature presents several unique challenges with respect to how recurring events are currently handled, and the final implementation will likely entail a significant restructure of the Events Calendar PRO core. We feel that a well-implemented, virtually bug-free release is worth the extra time spent in development. That said, we’ll certainly continue to communicate with our users as best we can as we’re making steady progress on this task! πŸ™‚

Again, I’m truly sorry for the disappointment here. Though our products might not be the best fit for this particular project at this time, we hope that we might have the opportunity to work with you on another project at some point in the future! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do for you. Cheers, and thanks again!
