    Hi Michael,

I’m so sorry to hear that your events aren’t working after reinstalling our calendar plugin! Just to confirm, are you now working with the latest version of The Events Calendar on your site, or have you reinstalled an older version of Events Calendar PRO to test? If you’re using Events Calendar PRO, you may wish to try deactivating and seeing if your 404 errors resolve with just the free version of The Events Calendar.

If you’re still experiencing 404 errors after attempting the above, would you mind sharing a link to your calendar so that we can take a closer look?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at our plugins! While it’s currentlyย possible to add tickets to a recurring event or event series with Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus, it’s worth noting that full support for recurring ticketing is not yet available at this time. Any tickets that are added to an event series will apply to all events within that series with no differentiation between tickets purchased for different days. Tickets for recurring events will also display only for the first instance of a recurring event in the WordPress admin, so splitting an event series will result in only that instance retaining ticket details.

I’m so sorry to be the bearer of bad news here. ๐Ÿ™ While adding full support for recurring event tickets has proven to be a challenging task, our development team is still hard at work on this implementation, and we hope to have more details to share regarding its progress soon! Until then, you can keep up with the latest updates on this feature on our UserVoice forum here:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for reaching out! With the exception of our Event Aggregator add-on, all of our plugins are self-contained and will continue to function after a given license key has expired. However, it’s worth noting that we are unable to provide support for any issues that may occur on sites with expired licensing, and we cannot guarantee that future updates to WordPress core or third-party plugins will not impact the functionality of outdated plugins.

I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    Hi Vincent,

Thanks so much for your interest in our products! It sounds like our Events Calendar PRO plugin would be an ideal fit for your event creation needs, as it includes built-in support for both pattern-based and non-pattern-based recurring events. For more information on how recurring events and event series work with Events Calendar PRO, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

For ticketing support on your events, you’ll want to add on Event Tickets (free) and Event Tickets Plus (premium), as well. This combination of plugins will provide the paid ticketing functionality that’s needed for your setup. However, it’s worth noting that full support for ticketing recurring events is not yet available at this time. Tickets that are created for a recurring events will apply to all events in the series–if a ticket is purchased for day 3 of an event series, it will appear exactly the same as a ticket purchased for day 1 (or any other day). Additionally, any ticket purchased for any day within an event series can only be checked in a maximum of one time. I’d suggest reviewing this combination of plugins in your intended setup to see whether these limitations will present a problem. If you should find that our plugins aren’t the best fit after further testing, we’ll be glad to process a refund within 30 days of your original purchase:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hiย Mychelle,

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like, in addition to our core calendar product, The Events Calendar, you’ll want to have a look at the following combination of plugins:

For your convenience, we do offer the above premium plugins (plus Filter Bar) in a discounted bundle:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/

With this combination of plugins, you’ll be able to set up your approved users for event creation and management, and you, as the administrator, will still have full back-end access for approving and administrating those events. Your event creators will be able to access their own events and attendee reports from the My Events page after logging in to their account. More information can be found on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/tracking-sales-getting-paid/

Let me know if you should have any other questions after giving our documentation a look over! ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again for reaching out!

    Hi Edgar,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While we do offer a variety of sidebar widget options for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, at this time, no widget options are available for ticket sales specifically. However, you may be able to incorporate this functionality into one of our existing widget formats via a template customization! This Knowledgebase article provides a list of all widgets that are currently available for our plugins:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/events-calendar-widgets/

If you’re interested in diving into customizations for our products, our Themer’s Guide is a great place to start–you’ll find plenty of helpful suggestions there, as well as a complete list of all modifiable templates for our plugins.

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! At this time, Event Aggregator is only able to import calendars from Google Calendar that are in iCal/ICS format. Most Google Calendars will offer a choice of both iCal and HTML formats. You can find the available formats for your calendar of choice by navigating to your Google Calendar settings, clicking the Calendars tab, and selecting the name for your calendar to display that calendar’s details.

For more information on importing to The Events Calendar from Google Calendar (or other feeds or URLs), check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks so much for reaching out–happy to hear that you’re considering making the move to our plugins! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’d be more than glad to answer these questions for you!

It sounds like your needs here might best be met by a combination of two plugins: our free core calendar plugin, The Events Calendar, and our premium community-focused add-on, Community Events. While The Events Calendar provides all the primary functionality for creating and displaying events, Community Events adds support for user-submitted events, opening up these tools to a broader audience. Here’s a point-by-point breakdown with your requests here:

Can I use EC on a site that allows multiple Users to create events? Yes! Community Events supports event submissions from both registered and anonymous users by default. You can adjust this behavior in your plugin settings, if desired.
If yes, then will EC allow the User (Organiser) to edit their own event? Registered users who submit events using Community Events will have the option of logging in and editing their own events. However, this option is not available to anonymous users.
Will the Organiser only see their events? Yes; when logging in to edit events, registered users will only be able to view and edit their own events. (Administrators, of course, are still able to view, edit, and approve all events!)
The view for the Organiser, is it viewed on the FrontEnd or Backend (Dashboard) of WordPress? All of the tools that registered users should need to administrate events are available on the front-end, without accessing the WordPress dashboard. However, if you do wish to grant dashboard access, users will still only be able to view and edit their own events. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that helps! For more information on our Community Events add-on, you can check out the product page at the following link:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

Let us know if you should have any other questions here! Cheers, and thanks again!
