MemberHi Trish,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Oh no–what a situation! I’m so sorry to hear about it! π
I’m pleased to report that swapping license keys for any of our premium plugins is a painless process, and you won’t need to perform any complicated extra steps, such as reinstalling your plugins. Simply log in to your WordPress site’s backend after purchasing, navigate to Events > Settings > Licenses from the WordPress sidebar, and enter your new license key in the provided field for Events Calendar PRO. Save your changes, and you’re all set! There’s no need to reenter any events or plugin settings, and your regular access to plugin updates through WordPress will be restored immediately. Let us know if you should have any questions or concerns as you’re working through the steps–we’d be more than glad to assist. π
I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

MemberHiΒ VΓ‘clav,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! Our code base has changed significantly since the linked forum post was created in 2014, and snippets developed for very old versions of The Events Calendar may not work with the latest available versions. Our support team isn’t typically able to assist with crafting custom code, but this Knowledgebase article may help to get you started in the right direction! π

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Samuel,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! π While private, members-only calendars are not supported by any of our products out of the box, there are options for providing this type of functionality via customization. More information can be found on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/
Our core calendar plugins The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO both support the export of events to ICS format, which can be easily imported by third-party applications such as Outlook. However, support for custom event invitations and limiting the display of content by user role is not included with any of our plugins. These features will require some degree of custom development to implement–our Themer’s Guide may prove a useful resource as you’re delving into customizing our products!
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Justin,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugin bundles! π While we don’t offer any built-in mechanisms for upgrading from a single plugin to a bundle or from a smaller bundle to the Ultimate Bundle, we’re happy to manually assist with these types of requests. Feel free to purchase Event Aggregator whenever you’re ready–if you decide that you’d like to make the leap to a bundle after that, simply drop us a quick email with your request via the below form. One of our team members will follow up to continue the conversation right away!

(Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Stefan,
Thanks so much for following up–no worries at all! We’re more than happy to answer any questions that you might have! π
If you’re looking to make changes to the single event template for our plugins, we do offer template files that can be modified in the same way as any other WordPress theme file. You can learn more about these files and best practices for making customizations in our Themer’s Guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Customizations of this type can be used to achieve nearly any styling that you’d like! However, template modifications do require some familiarity with PHP and CSS code, and our support team is not able to assist with these types of customizations (even for premium users). If you’re interested in adopting custom styling for your site but aren’t comfortable with writing code, you may wish to reach out to a third-party developer for further assistance. We maintain a list of customizers on our Knowledgebase who work with our plugins and are happy to take on custom projects such as yours!
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! π Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Scott,
Thanks for reaching out! At the moment, only our Eventbrite Tickets plugin supports the importing of events from Eventbrite, and these imports can only be performed on a manual basis. Our team is currently exploring options for potentially adding Eventbrite support to Event Aggregator, though development on this feature is not yet underway. If you’re interested in keeping up with the progress of this feature suggestion, you can follow the latest updates from our team over on our UserVoice forum:
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but I hope that helps to clear things up for now, at least! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do to assist. Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Mort,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! If your site is currently set up with one or more active premium licenses, you can set up a new account with us, purchase new licensing, and replace your existing license activations without affecting any of your events or settings. Simply enter your new license keys in place of the existing ones in your plugin settings (under Events > Settings > Licenses), and you’ll be all set! For more information on how to find and input a license key, check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/finding-and-inputting-your-license-key/
I hope that helps to get you on your way! π Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Laurel,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! I’d be more than glad to answer these questions for you. π
Does this support a boking form function?
Absolutely! Users can RSVP for your events free of charge using the free Event Tickets plugin, which includes most of our core ticketing and attendee functionality. If you’d like to add support for paid ticketing (and many other premium features), our Event Tickets Plus add-on is a worthwhile upgrade.
If so, can this tie in with an automated spaces left feature?
Yes. You can designate stock amounts on a per-ticket basis, or you can use the global stock feature to create an amount of ticket stock to be shared between all ticket types for a single event. For more information on stock options for tickets, check out our Knowledgebase article here:Β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-tickets/
Can it populate an overview of all events and show who is attending each event?
If you’re using Event Tickets Plus, by default, a list of confirmed attendees will be displayed on the single event pages for your ticketed events. You can disable this display on a per-event basis, if desired. Users who are comfortable with WordPress template customizations can also adjust the display of attendees using our Themer’s Guide:Β https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Would the overview be editable by me, I run off a spreadsheet currently to monitor payment but would like to be able to either selected an option which say paid deposit and then paid in full next to a booking or something along these lines?
Payment-related options such as these would be handled by your e-commerce plugin of choice. Event Tickets Plus includes support for both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. Feel free to research both options and choose the one that best fits your needs! π
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Stefan,
Thanks for reaching out! It appears that your theme includes support for custom sidebars on specific posts or pages, as seen here:
https://theme.co/x/features/unlimited-sidebars/
Defining your custom sidebars in this way should allow you to add any desired The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO widgets to your pages. However, it’s worth noting that only our existing widgets can be added to sidebars without delving into custom code. For more information on our available widget options, you can refer to our Knowledgebase documentation here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/events-calendar-widgets/
I hope that helps to get you started! π Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Jodi,
Thanks for getting in touch! Great question! We do offer a nonprofit partnership program to provide free and/or discounted product licenses to qualifying organizations–you can find more information as well as our application link on our Knowledgebase here.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
Let us know if you should have any questions about the program that aren’t answered there! Regarding the conflict you experienced with the free version of The Events Calendar, I’d suggest opening a new thread with more details over on our WordPress.org support forums. Our technical team there will be more than glad to take a closer look and see if this is something that can be resolved on our end!

MemberHi Julita,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Unfortunately, as noted, this user’s implementation is a customization of our This Week Widget and cannot be achieved without some degree of template modification. For more information on the default display and options for this widget, you can check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-this-week-widget/
If you’re interested in achieving a display similar to the above user’s but aren’t comfortable working with template modifications, you may wish to reach out a third-party customizer for more information on a custom quote. You’ll find a list of qualified customizers who work with our plugins right over here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
I hope that helps to get you started! π Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
