HI!
I have just taken over managing the Website for Marymount California University. The university has been using the Events Calendar Pro for some time. I have a valid activation key but do not have the username/email address and password that was used to set up the account. My question is, if I deactivate the current plugin, purchase a new license and upload the new version of the plugin, will my existing events still be there for me or will they be lost?
October 9, 2017 at 9:29 am #1361145CarolineMemberHi Pamela,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! If you’d like to administrate your existing site under a different account and/or license key, you can easily make this change without affecting any of your current events or settings. Simply log in to your WordPress site’s backend, navigate to Events > Settings > Licenses from your WordPress sidebar, and enter your new license key in place of the existing one for Events Calendar PRO. Once you’ve clicked the button to submit your changes, your new licensing will be applied to your site immediately–no need to adjust any settings or reinstall plugins. 🙂
I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics.
