    Hi Dave,

Thanks for reaching out–great question! For scheduled imports using Event Aggregator, we currently offer the following options for import frequency:

    • On demand (i.e. import task will only run when manually requested)
    • Every 30 minutes
    • Hourly
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Monthly

Unfortunately, there are no options available between an hourly and a daily import at this time. I’m so sorry to disappoint. πŸ™ Still, I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any others!

    Hi Sara,

Thanks for reaching out–great question! We’ve provided a Knowledgebase article that details processes for linking to Community Events pages, with various options available depending on your needs and preferences. Give it a look over whenever you should have a moment, and let me know if you should have questions after doing so! πŸ™‚

    Hi Antar,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’m afraid that at this time, only localhost sites and sites with the above listed TLDs (.dev and .test) will work as development sites without consuming one of your license key activation slots. However, you can still install your copy of Events Calendar PRO on your development site without needing to activate a license key! Omitting the license key from your install will remove your ability to perform automatic plugin updates, but updates can still be downloaded from your account on TheEventsCalendar.com and installed manually. Actual plugin functionality should not be impacted in any way. πŸ™‚

For more information on using a single license key across both development and live sites, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/

I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    HiΒ Iain,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! While recurring events are, indeed, a feature exclusive to our Events Calendar PRO add-on, import via CSV is supported by the free version of The Events Calendar. You can learn more about importing events and other data from CSV files on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/

You may also be interested in applying for discounted Events Calendar PRO licensing through our Nonprofit Partnership Program, which provides reduced-cost licensing to approved 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations. You can find more information as well as a link to our application form at the following location:

I hope that helps to get you started here! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look at our plugins! πŸ™‚ If you’re looking for a solution that enables you to sell tickets online for your calendar events, our Event Tickets Plus add-on supports both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads and should be a great fit for your needs. However, our plugins do not currently offer support for choosing specific days to attend on a multi-day event. For events such as these, I’d suggest creating a single day event for the first day of your event, then using a third-party post duplication plugin to duplicate that event. Each duplicated event can then be edited to change the date and any other details. From there, it’s just a matter of adding tickets to each day of the event so that users can buy individual tickets for the exact days that they wish to attend. πŸ™‚

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! It sounds like you’d have no problems executing a setup like this across your sites with Event Aggregator. Each Event Aggregator license key supports up to 10 total site activations, so it’s just a matter of setting up your “master” site, then importing each category’s events to the other sites at whatever interval you specify. You can learn more about importing events using Event Aggregator on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

For importing events from other sites running The Events Calendar, you’ll want to make use of the Other URL import type. You can import a specific category’s events by simply entering the URL for that category when setting up your import. For example, to import events from the “Tech Meetups” category on our WP Shindig demo site, you’d enter the URLΒ http://wpshindig.com/events/category/tech-meetups.

Each separate site will have its own calendar with its own set of events; imported events will be copied over to each individual calendar, not redirected to the source. However, by default, a link to the original event will be provided in the event details for any imported events. You can always remove these links if you’d prefer to keep your calendars entirely separate. πŸ™‚

I hope that helps to answer your questions here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that I can help you with!

    Hi Robin,

Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m afraid that there are no built-in integrations available for any membership plugins at this time–and since any given plugin is likely to store data such as membership numbers in a different way, any possible automated solution would need to be custom-developed. I’d suggest having a look at our Themer’s Guide before diving in here! You should find it a helpful reference for whatever projects you’d like to pursue.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

If you’d prefer to assign any development tasks to a third party, we also maintain a list of developers on our Knowledgebase who are happy to take on projects related to our plugins:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

I hope that helps to get you started here! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Aviva,

Thanks for reaching out–great question! Event Tickets Plus does not directly handle any payment processing or order management tasks, as these are managed by your e-commerce platform of choice (WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). If you’re looking to create a sponsorship product that includes a specific number of tickets, I’d suggest a WooCommerce-based setup with the WooCommerce Product Bundles extension. You can learn more about this extension here on the WooCommerce site:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/

Since tickets created with Event Tickets Plus are stored in your database as WooCommerce products, it’s just a matter of creating a bundle product for your sponsorship and adding on the appropriate number of tickets (along with any other products you may wish to include). When your user purchases the bundle, they’ll receive the correct number of tickets, just as if they’d purchased them individually.

It’s worth noting that bundle products of this type will not appear on event pages in the same manner as individual tickets. If you’d like to sell your bundle products and all event tickets from the default WooCommerce products page, this Knowledgebase article may be helpful:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/

I hope that helps to get you on your way here! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Christine,

Thanks so much for reaching out! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering making the move to our plugins, and I’d be more than glad to help with your questions here. πŸ™‚

    1. You’ve got it exactly right, yes! Our free core plugin The Events Calendar will add basic event creation and management capabilities; adding Events Calendar PRO on to this will activate a number of additional features, including support for recurring events. Community Events will then allow you to open up these event creation features to your site visitors. Of note: only registered users are able to log in and edit/delete their own events after submission, so you’ll want to make sure that your users have the ability to register on your site. For more information on Community Events settings, check out our Knowledgebase article here.
    2. Great question! Both free and premium users of our plugins can import data in CSV format into The Events Calendar. Supported data types include events, venues, organizers, RSVPs, tickets, and Events Calendar PRO Additional Fields. We’ve provided a walkthrough of the CSV import process here:

      https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/

You may also wish to refer to our CSV file examples post, which contains a breakdown of available fields for importing and downloadable templates for creating your CSV files.

      https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Francesco,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! The easiest way to embed a full events display onto your site’s homepage would likely be to use our [tribe_events] shortcode, which comes bundled with all installs of Events Calendar PRO. For more information on [tribe_events] and how to use it for custom event displays, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

I hope that helps to get you started here! πŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
