Hi – presale question for a new client. They have events where they sell regular tickets, but they also sell sponsorships to the event that comes with ‘x’ number of tickets when you buy that sponsorship level. Is there any way to accommodate this using tickets pro?
Thanks
November 14, 2017 at 8:26 am #1382545CarolineMemberHi Aviva,
Thanks for reaching out–great question! Event Tickets Plus does not directly handle any payment processing or order management tasks, as these are managed by your e-commerce platform of choice (WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). If you’re looking to create a sponsorship product that includes a specific number of tickets, I’d suggest a WooCommerce-based setup with the WooCommerce Product Bundles extension. You can learn more about this extension here on the WooCommerce site:
https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/
Since tickets created with Event Tickets Plus are stored in your database as WooCommerce products, it’s just a matter of creating a bundle product for your sponsorship and adding on the appropriate number of tickets (along with any other products you may wish to include). When your user purchases the bundle, they’ll receive the correct number of tickets, just as if they’d purchased them individually.
It’s worth noting that bundle products of this type will not appear on event pages in the same manner as individual tickets. If you’d like to sell your bundle products and all event tickets from the default WooCommerce products page, this Knowledgebase article may be helpful:

I hope that helps to get you on your way here! 🙂 Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
