Recurring events or import from CSV in free version of events calendar

Hi, I am the webmaster for my local church. I have been using the free version of events calendar for a while, and I really like it. However, my challenge is keeping the calendar up to date, without any easy/quick way to deal with recurring events. From what I have read the import feature is available in the free version, but mine does not work. I believe I am on the latest version.

I would like to make use of the pro features but unfortunately there is a very limited budget. Is there anything that you can do to help with the cost?

While recurring events are, indeed, a feature exclusive to our Events Calendar PRO add-on, import via CSV is supported by the free version of The Events Calendar.
