    dear Event Calender

I installed your plugin via Avada theme in wordpress, its working fine! so really thankful for your great add on.

I want to get the pro version, but before I do that I want to know if I can customize the event post, like all other blog posts on my homepage? I have them in a row of 4 next to each other, only the event post does not show the excerpt, date and comments. Oh and make the Title as wide as the recent post, and the same hover effect on the title.

I have the website in maintenance mode so you have to login to see the homepage:

    Hi Dylan,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! No worries–you’ve come to the right place with your question today! 🙂 Our support forums are staffed by Modern Tribe team members who are more than happy to assist with inquiries related to our products. In our open pre-sales forum, all users are welcome to open new topics, search our history of topics for relevant threads, and even answer questions for other users. That said, we do work to ensure that all questions posted here receive a reply from a member of our products team.

Related to your question: if you’re looking to modify the display of your event posts, I’d suggest beginning with the resources available in our Themer’s Guide! This guide provides a handy list of all templates that are used by our plugin and includes plenty of tips and instructions on how to get started modifying these to suit your preferences. If you’ve ever done any sort of customization with WordPress themes, you should feel right at home here!

I hope that helps to get you on your way! 🙂 Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

I Got a message above my events.

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘wp_postmeta.meta_value’ in ‘field list’]
    SELECT DISTINCT wp_posts.*, MIN(wp_postmeta.meta_value) as EventStartDate, MIN(tribe_event_end_date.meta_value) as EventEndDate FROM wp_posts JOIN wp_icl_translations t ON wp_posts.ID = t.element_id AND t.element_type = CONCAT(‘post_’, wp_posts.post_type) LEFT JOIN wp_postmeta as tribe_event_end_date ON ( wp_posts.ID = tribe_event_end_date.post_id AND tribe_event_end_date.meta_key = ‘_EventEndDate’ ) WHERE 1=1 AND wp_posts.ID NOT IN (2236,2170,2158,2146,2136,1066,1410,2636,2656,2677,2679) AND wp_posts.post_type = ‘tribe_events’ AND (wp_posts.post_status = ‘publish’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-success’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-failed’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-schedule’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-pending’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘tribe-ea-draft’ OR wp_posts.post_status = ‘private’) AND ( ( t.language_code = ‘en’ AND wp_posts.post_type IN (‘post’,’page’,’tribe_venue’,’tribe_organizer’,’tribe_events’,’avada_portfolio’,’avada_faq’,’slide’ ) ) OR wp_posts.post_type NOT IN (‘post’,’page’,’tribe_venue’,’tribe_organizer’,’tribe_events’,’avada_portfolio’,’avada_faq’,’slide’ ) ) ORDER BY EventStartDate DESC, wp_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 1

    I run WP 4.8.2
    Avada Theme 5.5.2
    Event tribe 4.6.1

I did try to remove the event plugin and reintalled the plugin afterwards.

I recently migrated the website to another server from PHP 5.5 too PHP 5.6

    Could that be a problem?

    Hi Dylan,

How strange–thanks so much for bringing this to our attention! I’d love to have our technical support team over on WordPress.org take a closer look, if you wouldn’t mind. Would you be so kind as to open a new post with the details of the problem (and perhaps a link to your site) on our WordPress.org support forum for The Events Calendar?

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar/

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

    Hi Dylan,

Great, thanks so much for doing that! I’ll make sure that one of our team members is on hand as soon as possible to assist you there. 🙂 To keep things moving along here in our pre-sales forum, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out for now. Thanks again, and we’ll see you over on WordPress.org!
