GuestI am currently using the Time.ly Events calendar for my Multisite Network. We have a paid plugin from Time.ly called SuperWidget that allows me to display the full calendar from the main site on any subsite I choose. It also allows me to filter the content by category, etc.
So, my question is as follows:
Is the Modern Tribe Events calendar able to do something similar?
Below are examples of the main calendar: https://www.fcpotawatomi.com/events/
And the filtered calendar: https://cmh.fcpotawatomi.com/events/I am willing to purchase addons if necessary.

MemberHi Mathew,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While none of our plugins offer the ability to embed events across multiple sites in quite the same way, we do offer a similar type of functionality through our Event Aggregator tool. Using the import capabilities of Event Aggregator, it’s possible to create multiple calendars for each of your sub-sites, then import all events from these sites into a shared “hub” calendar. (The reverse, of course, is also possible!) You can read more about our Event Aggregator import tool on its product page here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
I’d be glad to answer any specific questions you might have about this plugin or how it might work for your intended setup! Let me know if I can assist in any way. 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

ParticipantI did a bunch of research and ended up coming up with a solution to the issue. Using the built in events calendar REST API, I created a simple plugin that loads events from any site containing The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe. It’s absolutely perfect for my needs.
An example of this running as a simple shortcode on my blog can be found here:

MemberHi Mathew,
What a great use of the new REST API functionality of The Events Calendar–thanks so much for taking the time to share with us! 🙂 Should you decide to make your plugin available on the WordPress.org plugin repository at any point in the future, we hope you’ll pay us a visit here or on our WordPress.org support forums to let us know!
As it looks like your issue here is all sorted now, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out. Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do to assist!
