    Hi Simon,

Thanks for reaching out! As our calendar events are structured as custom WordPress post types, they share the same databases that are used for other WordPress posts and cannot be easily relocated. I’m sorry to disappoint. 🙁 Depending on your needs here, you may find some use in exporting events for external applications. If you’re interested in learning more about export options for The Events Calendar events, the following Knowledgebase articles may help to get you started!

Again, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here–I hope that helps a bit to clarify what’s possible with our plugins. Please don’t hesitate to follow up if I can answer any other questions for you!

    Hi Grant,

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look at our products! While our product bundles offer the ability to purchase multiple plugins at once for a considerable cost savings, all of our bundled plugins are still packaged for separate installation. As such, you don’t need to use Eventbrite Tickets if the Eventbrite service isn’t required for your setup. Event Tickets Plus is also included as part of the Ultimate Bundle and pairs with an e-commerce platform of your choice (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) to provide robust self-hosted ticketing functionality. This might be a better option if you’d like to have more control over your order management and customer payment options. You can learn more about what payment gateways are supported by these e-commerce platforms by referring to their documentation:

As far as our one-year licenses are concerned, you can think of your purchase as like a magazine subscription–each purchase grants one year of service, meaning support and updates. At the end of the year, you will lose your access to our support forums and any new updates of the plugin. However, the plugin itself will keep working. (The sole exception to this rule is our Event Aggregator plugin, which relies on our own cloud-based servers for performing import tasks.) If you should choose to renew your license, you’ll get another year of access at our discounted renewal rate. Does that clear things up?

I hope that helps! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns here. Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Leigh,

Thanks for following up! I’m so sorry for the disappointment here. 🙁 We’re always open to adding new features and expanding the functionality of existing ones to better meet our users’ needs. If you’re interested in seeing this feature brought to a future version of our plugins, we’d love to have you submit your idea to our UserVoice forum here:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas

Submitting your feature suggestion on our UserVoice forum will get it on our development team’s radar for future updates and will allow other users to vote their interest and add comments, as well. We regularly monitor these forums to gather ideas for product feature releases, so it’s the best way to make your interest known for a particular idea. We hope that you’ll consider joining us there!

Let us know if you should have any other questions here or if there’s anything else that we can do for you. Cheers, and thanks so much again for stopping by! 🙂

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for taking the time to connect and share your feedback with us! We’re definitely eager to explore options for making our check-in processes more intuitive for event organizers and attendees alike, and we’re open to any suggestions our users might have in that vein. It might be worth submitting your ideas for a dedicated QR code app on our UserVoice forum! This will get your suggestion on our radar for future development and will allow other users to vote their interest and add additional comments. We hope that you’ll consider stopping by! 🙂

    Hi Vincent,

Thanks for getting in touch! I’m so sorry for the confusion here! You can change any of the domains associated with any of our plugin licenses at any time after purchasing. This Knowledgebase article will walk you through the process of removing your old domain from your license and replacing with a new domain.

I hope that helps to clear things up! 🙂 Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Elizabeth,

Thanks for reaching out! Our import tool Event Aggregator does detect duplicates when bringing in new events from external sources, but this logic isn’t applied to events submitted using Community Events. If you wish to ensure that users do not submit duplicate events directly to your site’s calendar, I’d suggest changing your plugin settings so that user-submitted events are saved as drafts before being posted to your site. This will allow you to review all submissions, make any necessary changes, and delete any duplicates before they are displayed to your site visitors. You can read more about configuring Community Events on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/community-events-settings/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that our plugins do not include support for user-specific calendars at this time. I’m sorry to disappoint. 🙁 If you’re looking to maintain separate calendars for certain types of events, the nearest functionality we might be able to offer (without customizations) would be category-specific calendars. You can read more about event categories and category calendars on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-categories/

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks for reaching out! While it’s not possible to export calendar events formatted for HTML emails at this time, you can grab the HTML for any event by simply viewing the source code for that event. Any CSS that needs to be included can be referenced from the inspector of your web browser of choice. You can read more about using Google Chrome Developer Tools to inspect CSS properties for our page elements here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/

Single events can also be exported in ICS/iCal format, if desired–you’ll find an export button for this function when viewing the single event page for any event.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

    Hi Kaila,

Thanks for reaching out! By default, tickets created using Event Tickets Plus are sold directly from the page for a given calendar event. If you’d prefer to sell your tickets alongside other types of WooCommerce products, you might wish to list tickets on your WooCommerce products page instead. Happily, there’s a way to do just that! You’ll find all the details here in our Knowledgebase:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/

Hopefully this change will provide the solution you need for your setup! Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! 🙂

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for reaching out–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering The Events Calendar for this client project! Unfortunately, I’m afraid that none of our plugins currently offer this type of poll-based scheduling functionality right out of the box. 🙁 Adding on this feature to your calendar setup may be possible via custom development, but the level of customization required would likely be fairly extensive. As always, our Themer’s Guide and Technical Docs are available to users who are interested in customizing our products, and we’re happy to provide what limited guidance we can in our support forums! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if we can help in any way.

I’m so sorry to be the bearer of bad news here! We truly appreciate your interest, and we wish you the best of luck on your project! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Leigh,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a way to designate specific events as “private” events to hide them from your calendar views. However, there are a couple of ways that you may be able to achieve this functionality on your site:

    • By changing the Visibility for a given event to Password protected, you can specify a password that users will need to enter to view event content. This will not hide the event titles from your calendar views, but it will ensure that users without the proper password will not be able to view any other content from the event. For more information on password protection for WordPress posts, you can check out WordPress’s documentation on the subject: https://codex.wordpress.org/Content_Visibility
    • If you’re comfortable taking on some customizations, you can designate a specific category for private events and add some code to hide events with that category for your calendar views. This forum post provides some details and a code snippet to get you started! https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/hide-private-event-on-calendar/

I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions! 🙂

    Hi Marguerite,

Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with stock amounts for your event tickets–we’d love to take a closer look and see what we can do to help. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

    Hi Rodney,

Thanks for following up! If you’re using a theme that supports the WordPress Menu Builder, this Knowledgebase should provide all the info you need to add a link to your calendar:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-a-calendar-link-to-your-site-menu/

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, we do ask that you please open a new forum thread of your own so that we can continue to assist you there. If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for your product. If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the product you’re using.

I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out so that we can continue to assist you on a new forum thread of your own. Cheers, and thanks again for reaching out! 🙂
