KeymasterHi Brian,
Thanks for reaching out!
This is actually a known issue, and we do have an internal ticket open to address it. Unfortunately I don’t have a timeline I can give you as to when this will be resolved, but I linked this thread to our internal ticket. This way you’ll be notified as soon as we have an update.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello and thanks for reaching out!
Event Aggregator does import automatically from Facebook groups, although there was a recent bug with this feature. However, a fix was released that should have resolved this issue. It sounds like you are able to import events manually?
When you say the automatic import from the group is not working, can you elaborate on what happens? Do you get any messages (if so, can you please send me a screenshot), or does the preview never load?
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Maria,
I’m sorry to hear about all of the trouble with the upgrade, but I’m glad to hear you got it working! Since this thread has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Please feel free to open a new one if you run into any more issues!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out!
I did some testing and was not able to recreate the issue, and I also took a look at our current bug reports but did not see anything related to using tags. My first recommendation would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins, and also to check if you have a similar issue with tags for other post types besides events. That should help in narrowing down the source of the problem.
Making sure you are running the most current versions (The Events Calendar is at 4.5.8) is also important!
Finally, purchasing a license would give you access to our premium support forums, where we are able to provide in-depth support that we unfortunately are not able to provide here in our Pre-Sales forum. You can however post in our community forum over on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports.
I hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Caroline,
Thanks for reaching out!
I would love to help you get this resolved, but my first thought here is that the plugin needs to be updated. It looks like there was a known issue with the exclusion feature of recurring events in past versions. In addition, it’s been over a year since your license expired, which means several new versions have been released since you would have last been able to update Pro. Unfortunately, older versions may start having issues over time as WordPress and our base The Events Calendar plugin are updated and may begin to lose compatibility with older versions. I can confirm that the exclusion feature is working in the current version – 4.4.14 (see settings and front end screen shots).
I would also recommend testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins as a good first step in figuring out what’s going on. If you do renew the license and still have this issue with the current version, we are happy to help you get it resolved over in our support forums!
Hopefully that helps, and please let me know if I can answer any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi John,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Recurring events from Events Calendar Pro will basically let you set rules to copy an event, allowing it to recur as you specify. This will result in each instance of the recurring event showing up on the calendar and in other views. You can see several examples of recurring events here, such as the event “Startup Happy Hour!”, and I took a screenshot of the recurring event edit screen for you to help clear up how recurring events work. You can set several different rules for recurrence on one event (such as the first Tuesday of the month, July 27th, and every Monday, for example).
All of the dates for a recurring event do not appear in the event description by default, but you could add it in by customizing the PHP template (see our themer’s guide for more info on customizing our plugins). However, each recurring event does have a “See All” link by default that will take you to a list of all dates for that event.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with our products, so please feel free to test them out!
Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

KeymasterHi Carolee,
Thanks for reaching out!
You could accomplish this by using The Events Calendar (free), Event Tickets (free), and Event Tickets Plus ($89). The Events Calendar is our base plugin that allows you to create events and is required to use all of our other plugins. With Event Tickets Plus, you will be able to sell tickets for each event. Note that you will also need to install and activate WooCommerce (free) or another supported eCommerce platform, which handles the checkout process.
Purchasing Event Tickets Plus will also give you access to our premium support forums, where we are happy to help you get set up, troubleshoot, or configure the plugins work for your particular use case.
I hope that helps! We do also offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with our products, so feel free to test them out! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Adam,
Thanks for reaching out! The best way would probably be to create an “RSVP” style ticket in addition to your paid tickets, which comes with the free Event Tickets plugin. This will update the range to say “Free – $20” or whatever the price of the paid ticket is.
Does that answer your question, or are you trying to change the way the price range is displayed?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi André,
Thanks for following up with that info. I did a quick test on my end with the Stockholm theme but was not able to recreate the issue. We are a bit limited in the amount of support we can provide for theme/plugin conflicts, but I would really like to help you get this resolved. Do you have a site that you use for testing? If not, I would recommend using a plugin like WP Staging to create a quick copy of your site that you can use for testing. If you could enable the Stockholm theme on the staging site and then send me a link to it, I’ll take a look and see what I can recommend!
Also, on the staging site, make sure that you have WP_DEBUG enabled in your wp-config.php file so that we can see any errors that might be occurring.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Melissa,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Yes, you can import events from Google (and several other sources) with Event Aggregator! Once events are imported, they are regular events in your site and have all options that events created directly in the site would have.
Unfortunately, events cannot currently be pushed from the site into Google, so the best option would be to create them first in Google and then import them into the site.
You are correct that events don’t support “subsections” or agenda-like functionality. What you could do is include the agenda breakdown in the event description, or if you are issuing tickets, you could create different tickets for the different sections using Event Tickets (free tickets) or Event Tickets Plus (paid tickets). Depending on how your events are set up, it could also make sense to create individual events for the different agenda items. One other option I’d like to mention here is using the Additional Fields feature that comes with Events Calendar Pro. This would allow you to create custom fields on events that you could use to add agenda items.
We do offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!
I hope that answers all of your questions, but please let me know if you need any further clarification!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re running into issues with the scheduled imports…could you please send me a link to the source you’re trying to import from so that I can do some testing on my end? Are there multiple sources you’ve tried importing from, and if so, have any of them succeeded?
Also, can you try manually importing from a file to see if you are able to get that to work?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Tiebo,
Thanks for reaching out! I’ll be happy to help you get this resolved.
You can edit the template for the list view by following these instructions to copy it over to your child theme and editing it from there. You can find it at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list.php.
I’m not exactly sure what you are referring to as far as the menu of event categories…do you mean the Filter Bar that appears on the left-hand side? If so, could you give me an example of a category that is not showing all events?
Regarding the issue where all upcoming events are not shown: can you go under Events > Settings > General and increase the “Number of events to show per page” setting and see if that resolves this for you (see screenshot)? You said “In this mode subcategories are selected.” Is this issue only occurring when you have selected subcategories (meaning that there are more events for that particular subcategory than are being displayed), or are you not seeing all upcoming events in general?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Maggie,
You are correct that we offer full refunds within 30 days. I’m sorry Eventbrite Tickets isn’t working out for you, but I went ahead and processed the refund.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else!

KeymasterHi Miguel,
We actually do have shortcodes that come with Pro that give a wide variety of options for filtering and displaying events around your site, but unfortunately filtering by author is not currently one of those options. I will bring this up to the team however and see about including it in the future.
For the time being, let me know how this works out!
Thanks,
Jennifer
