    Hi Mansi,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

While we do not support Polylang, we do officially support WPML for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, and we also have some instructions on setting that up.

I know that’s not the answer you were hoping for, but I hope it is helpful! Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hi Thomas,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Just to verify, you are using the plugin mentioned here, and it’s not working for you?

If this is the case, you’ve got the older version of the plugin. The new version can be found here. So go ahead and deactivate then delete the old one, install and activate this one, and you should be all set!

Let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi Cary,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this.

The current version of The Events Calendar is 4.5.2. Can you update and try again?

Regarding the license, it sounds like you may have accidentally entered the key in the Event Aggregator field instead of the Community Events field. Can you double check this and see if you are still receiving the error message?

Let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for letting us know about this!

I tested this out, and I see the same thing on my end. I’ve logged this in our system, so I’m going to set the status of this thread to “pending fix”.

We’ll be sure to let you know when this has been resolved! In the meantime, deleting and re-adding the organizers is probably going to be your best bet. I’m sorry for the inconvenience there!

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Thanks for asking about this!

If you go into Appearance > Menus, you can select event categories to add to your nav menu or a secondary menu and drag and drop to create a hierarchy – some themes come with the rollover effect and will display child menus as you hover over the parent. If not, you’d need to add a little JavaScript to get this effect.

If you’re looking to create this outside of one of your WordPress menus, unfortunately there isn’t currently an “out of the box” way to create a menu like you’re talking about – some customizations would be required to make that work.

While we are not currently able to offer customizations, we do have a themer’s guide with great info to help get you started! We’ll be here to answer questions and help point you in the right direction, so feel free to reach out if you get stuck!

I would also recommend taking a look around at some plugins that might help you do this easier…for example, this one lets you display menus around your site with shortcodes.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: Every year birthday setting? #1285125

    Hi Lennard,

Absolutely! Events Calendar Pro lets you set recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or a more customized schedule), so when you create a birthday, you can set it to repeating and then specify how long you’d like it to repeat for or let it repeat indefinitely.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for checking out our plugins.

Yes, the default Events page calendar will show all events. You can then display calendars showing only certain categories of events using widgets and shortcodes wherever you’d like on your site!

    Thanks for clarifying Judith!

Calendar views use the date and time fields of Events to display them in the right place on the calendar, so for that reason, there isn’t a way to get your courses to show up in calendar views without some customization. If you’d like to give it a shot, you can find some good information in our themer’s guide to get you started.

You could try using a post duplicator to copy the courses and then a plugin like this to switch the post type of the course copy to an event (which you’d then need to edit and set the date and time) – just a suggestion, totally untested!

For future reference, please note that this is our Pre-Sales forum. If you have purchased any premium plugins from us, then you have access to our premium support forums, which is where we provide support for all of our premium plugins. For questions on our free plugins, please post in our wordpress.org community forum.

Thanks Judith! I hope this helps!

    Cheryl,

Thanks for asking! We do not currently have a bundle for Pro and Tickets Plus, but you can find our current bundles and discounts here. Also, we do offer renewal discounts when the time comes, so keep an eye out for that as well! : )

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for taking a look at our plugins!

Using ticket fieldsets from Event Tickets Plus, you can create custom text, radio, checkbox, and dropdown fields to collect attendee information like addresses. You can set these fields to be required, but there is currently not another out of the box way to validate the fields.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi Yohanan,

Currently I am not aware of any way to customize it to be able to set a separate venue for each occurrence of a recurring event – this would be a large customization. However, I would recommend that you take a look at our themer’s guide, which would be the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot!

If you decide to go with individual events, you could also use a post duplicator plugin like this one to help speed up the process.

Again, I wish I could give you a better solution, but I hope this helps!

    Hi Mike,

Copying and editing the php template is indeed on the technical side. We have a guide for copying templates into your theme, but once it’s in there, you will need to use html and/or php to edit it. Also, this would not give you more than one form (your copy would replace the original one), so this may not be the best option for you.

To your second question, every event is accessible from the backend to edit, whether it was created there or via the front end form, just like posts and pages.

I completely understand your hesitation regarding the refund policy! Fortunately, our process is very simple. If the plugin doesn’t work for you, just let us know by filling out the form here within 30 days of purchase, and you get your money back.

Hopefully this helps clear things up, but if not, just let me know!
