GuestHello,
I am using the Goodlayers plugin to manage several courses.
I would like to add a course in the agenda without copy the entire course in an event ? Is that possible ? How ?
Thank you for you help.

KeymasterHi Judith,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you trying to move the courses from your current plugin to The Events Calendar? If you want to move them, then you should be able to do it via a .csv export/import, which you can find more info on here.
Or are you trying to link courses that you already have set up to new events? If this is the case, please let me know a little bit more detail about how you would like this to work, and I will be happy to help you figure out how it would work using The Events Calendar.
Thanks!
Jennifer

GuestThank you, Jennifer, for the tip with the CSV !
But, I am using the Clever Course theme from GoodLayers. That theme is a Learning Management System and I already created the courses. In order to import them in the Events Calendar, I have copied the courses in the events. I think it’s not the right way because it’s redondant data and it’s a huge waste of time for me.
I hope these details will help in understanding my needs.
Have a nice day,

KeymasterThanks for clarifying Judith!
Calendar views use the date and time fields of Events to display them in the right place on the calendar, so for that reason, there isn’t a way to get your courses to show up in calendar views without some customization. If you’d like to give it a shot, you can find some good information in our themer’s guide to get you started.
You could try using a post duplicator to copy the courses and then a plugin like this to switch the post type of the course copy to an event (which you’d then need to edit and set the date and time) – just a suggestion, totally untested!
For future reference, please note that this is our Pre-Sales forum. If you have purchased any premium plugins from us, then you have access to our premium support forums, which is where we provide support for all of our premium plugins. For questions on our free plugins, please post in our wordpress.org community forum.
Thanks Judith! I hope this helps!
