    Hi Paula,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this.

First, you do need Event Tickets in order to use Event Tickets Plus. Sorry for the misinformation there! The good news is that you can download this plugin for free!

I did a quick test using Divi, Woo, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus and wasn’t able to recreate the issue of attributes not being loaded. Could you please send me a link or screenshot of where this is occurring?

Regarding getting tickets set up, it sounds like your best option would be to install the free Events Calendar plugin, which will let you create events that you can then easily add tickets to. You can collect attendee info using custom fieldsets, which would be the alternative to using variations with a product. Tickets will still show up in your cart like products.

If this sounds like a good option to you, I would be happy to help you in getting it set up the way you’d like. If not, please let me know, and I can help with another solution!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Judith,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you trying to move the courses from your current plugin to The Events Calendar? If you want to move them, then you should be able to do it via a .csv export/import, which you can find more info on here.

Or are you trying to link courses that you already have set up to new events? If this is the case, please let me know a little bit more detail about how you would like this to work, and I will be happy to help you figure out how it would work using The Events Calendar.

    Thanks!

    Hi Anne,

I’d be happy to help you with this!

Can you verify that you installed the newer version of that plugin? If you could also share your system info with me, that would be great.

After you installed and activated the plugin, was “[events_tickets_form] shortcode” an option under Events > Settings > Tickets > Location of tickets form?

    Thanks!

    Hi Terri,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can remove that line by adding this one:

    remove_action( ‘wp_head’, array( ‘Tribe__Events__iCal’, ‘set_feed_link’ ), 2,  0 );

    to your functions.php file.

Let me know if you need any more help!

    Hi Leah,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help with this.

Try adding this snippet to your functions.php file. It should only remove the “sports” category from the main calendar. Make sure you change the line

‘terms’    => array( ‘concert’, ‘convention’ ),

    to

    ‘terms’    => array( ‘sports’ ),

Let me know how that goes!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for letting us know about the email issue with wpshindig. We’re going to take a look at that – sorry for the inconvenience!

Notifying the Admin (or whichever email addresses you specify) via email when new events are submitted is an option that you can turn on or off. And yes, when they review it from the back end, they will have all of the options that they would see if they were creating an event themselves. So they can edit it however they need and make it featured, etc.

You are correct about the pricing and Events Calendar Pro being a separate plugin from Community Events. You will also need to install our free The Events Calendar plugin in order to use Pro and Community Events.

The front end form comes from a php template which you can copy into your own theme and edit from there, but it’s not a post or page that you can open up in the admin and edit. It’s more of a gateway to allow users to create events (which are custom post types that can be opened in the admin) without having access to the rest of your site.

For Buddypress, please see this post.

And finally, our refund policy entitles you to a full refund within 30 days if you are not satisfied with the products, so I would definitely recommend trying them out! The licenses for the plugins also give you access to our premium support forums, so if you have questions or need help after you’ve installed the plugins, we’re here for you!

    Hi Lawrence,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

To add (paid) tickets to events, you would need the Event Tickets Plus plugin at $89 for a 1 year license.

The best way to duplicate events like that would be with a third party post duplicator plugin like this one, which will allow you to copy an event just by clicking “Duplicate”. Unfortunately, this will not duplicate the tickets though. You can however create custom ticket fieldsets, which can be saved and then selected when creating a new event ticket to avoid having to recreate fields each time you create a ticket.

Events Calendar Pro ($89) supports recurring events, but recurring tickets are currently not supported (though they will be in a future release – see this post for more details).

I hope that helps! Please let me know if I can answer any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for checking out our plugins! I’d be happy to help you.

You can buy multiple tickets for multiple events in one purchase. Tickets are added to your cart, so you can click around to different events, add tickets, and then buy them with one checkout process.

Regarding recurring event tickets, you can set recurring events with Events Calendar Pro, and you technically can add tickets to recurring events with Event Tickets Plus, however it will be the same ticket on each event.

So for example if someone adds a ticket for a (recurring) event on two different days, say May 20th and May 25th, the cart will show that ticket with a quantity of two, not two separate tickets for May 20th and May 25th.

Does that answer your question? Please let me know if you need any further clarification!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Bartosz,

Thanks for looking into our plugins!

I understand your concern about making that investment. Fortunately, we offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the plugin. This way, you have a chance to try it out, and if it doesn’t meet need your needs, we are happy to refund your money.

To answer your question, this site (theeventscalendar.com) is the only official site to buy Events Calendar Pro from. Any other source would not be an authorized distributor.

Again, thanks for checking us out, and please let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Hi Pat,

Thanks for looking into our plugins!

Yes, Community Events and all of our other free and premium plugins can be used with our free Events Calendar plugin. Events Calendar Pro adds some great features like recurring events and the ability to add additional fields to events, but it is not required to use any of our other plugins.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi Yohanan,

    Welcome back to our forums!

You can add multiple dates to a single event by using the recurring events feature (under the TIME & DATE section, click “Schedule multiple events”). Unfortunately, adding multiple venues to a single event is not supported at this time.

For your particular case, a good solution may be to create individual events so that you can separate out which times go with which venues, and then use categories/tags to group the events. If you’d like to display these “groups” on your site, you can use the Events Lists/Events Calendar widgets and filter by the category/tag.

I hope this helps! I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but please let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Georges,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you fix this.

Can you tell me which versions of The Events Calendar and Event Tickets Plus you’re using (or share your system information)? There may be some compatibility issues with older versions and WooCommerce 3.0.

You can try adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file (without the “<?php” tag at the top). If you’re not using a child theme already, it is highly recommended that you use one to make these types of changes so that they are not overwritten with future theme updates.

Let me know how it goes, and please let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Peter,

Welcome back to our forums! I’m sorry you weren’t able to share your system info with us by checking the box, but you can follow these instructions to share it manually.

It’s strange that you would still be seeing PayPal even with the “Enable PayPal Standard” option under WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > PayPal being unchecked. Can you verify that the “Enable PayPal sandbox” option is also unchecked (on that same page)?

As a quick fix, you could also hide the option with CSS:

    .wc_payment_method payment_method_paypal { display: none; }

To edit the required fields for the Community Events form, our “Required Fields for Events Submission Form” section in our Themer’s Guide has some good information which should get you pointed in the right direction.

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi Ana,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately, adding the excerpt field to the front end Community Events submission form is not currently supported. We do have an open feature request for this, so if you’d like to see this implemented in a future release, please vote on it!

I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you, but please do let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi David,

Thanks for following up! Again, I am sorry that you are having so much trouble, but I would really like to help you get this fixed.

We are aware of a few issues with erroneous license key messages following some recent maintenance work done on our license key system and are actively working on getting this fixed.

In the meantime, you should be able to install the update manually by following these steps. I think this will work for you since you were able to download it from your account to your computer. I apologize again for the inconvenience!

Please let me know how that goes. If you are still having issues, I will be happy to continue working with you until everything is resolved.

    Thanks!

    Jennifer
