    I purchased event aggregator today hoping that my events from FB group could be automatically imported to the website. But i found that it is not working at all. I was utterly disappointed to see from the post below that I need to give URL for each event and import and that is fully manual effort and doesn’t seem to be helping me in automation any way. My events are made very frequently.

    Hello and thanks for reaching out!

    Event Aggregator does import automatically from Facebook groups, although there was a recent bug with this feature. However, a fix was released that should have resolved this issue. It sounds like you are able to import events manually?

    When you say the automatic import from the group is not working, can you elaborate on what happens? Do you get any messages (if so, can you please send me a screenshot), or does the preview never load?

    I’d like updates on this as well. I’m having a problem setting up a scheduled import. I receive an error when trying to import from the group.

    The error reads “Events cannot be imported because Facebook has returned an error. This could mean that the event ID does not exist, the event or source is marked as Private, or the event or source has been otherwise restricted by Facebook. You can read more about Facebook restrictions in our knowledgebase.”

    This error occurs when i add the name of the group, and when I use the url which includes /events/

    Hi Ryan,

    Thanks for sharing the error you’re getting. I tried reproducing this on my end but was not able to do so, and I don’t see that we currently have any bug reports open related to this issue.

    Would you mind selecting “report the same issue and get support.” at the bottom of this thread to open a new thread? We’ll be happy to help you get this resolved over there!
