KeymasterHi Michael,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into this issue as well. So far, we have not been able to reproduce it in a testing environment. Could you check and see if the missing attendees occurred on the same date and ticket, or is the issue spread across multiple dates and tickets?
Can you take a look through the orders for the missing attendees and see if you can find any similarities between them? If you could send me a screenshot of an order where this occurred, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Tiana,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. Could you please send me a screenshot of what you are seeing under Appearance > Widgets? If you could share your system information with me, that would be helpful as well.
The first step in troubleshooting would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins. If you prefer to do this in a testing environment, the WP Staging plugin will allow you to create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Preston,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can make this change by following the instructions in our themer’s guide to edit the single-event.php template for the week view, found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/week/single-event.php. You can use the tribe_get_start_time function to add the time to the title.
Per our forum guidelines, we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 12, 2017 at 3:01 pm in reply to: Need Event to Repeat Multiple Times a Day, and Multiple Days #1348300Jennifer
KeymasterHi Henry,
Thanks for reaching out! I did some testing on my end, but I was not able to recreate the issue with only one time showing – when I click or hover on either event on the same day, I get the correct time (see screenshot). Is this what you are referring to? Can you please send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing (or send me a link if possible – I took a look at your site but did not see the calendar in your screenshots).
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterNo problem, and thank you for the feedback! You are not the first person to bring this up, so hopefully we can get it added in the future.
I hope you are able to get it working the way you would like!
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to open a new one if you have any further questions or need direction on the customization.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Sorry that didn’t work for you…Could you please send me a copy of your attendees-list.php template? I’ll test it out on my end and see if I can find any issues there.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Nick,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Community Events will let users submit events from the front end, and you have the option to require them to be signed in to do so. This will let you control which users have access to this feature. When you say subscriptions, do you mean charging users periodically to have access to submit events? This is not a feature that is currently available (although it definitely sounds like a good feature – I would recommend posting it over in out Feature Idea Forum), but you might be able to use WooCommerce Subscriptions to get this set up. Our ticketing plugins use either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to handle the checkout process, so if you go with Woo, you’ll be able to use some of their extensions in conjunction with our plugins.
If you would like users to be able to sell tickets to their events, you will need Event Tickets Plus and Community Tickets. With Event Tickets Plus, you can charge a per-ticket fee, or “commission”, for each of your users’ tickets that is sold on your site. This guide has some more information on how this feature works.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out and see if they’ll work for you! If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello Gregory,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Event Tickets Plus actually uses WooCommerce to handle the entire checkout process, so checkout will work the same way it does now since you are already set up with WooCommerce. Tickets will be added to your cart just like like regular products.
As far as being able to add multiple items from one page…you can add multiple tickets at one time from a single event page (see wpshindig.com for a demo – note that the attendee list is a feature that can be turned off). However, this is only for tickets – there isn’t currently any functionality in our plugins that would allow you to add multiple products to the cart at one time. Within WooCommerce, you should be able to add multiple items to the cart from the default shop page.
By default, adding a ticket to the cart will take you directly to the cart. There is not an out of the box way to use a pop-up instead, but it could be accomplished with a customization. While we do not currently do customizations, our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins and is the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot!
Finally, Event Tickets Plus will let you collect additional info from each attendee, like emergency contact and allergy info.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to give Event Tickets Plus a test run!
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Amy,
Thanks for reaching out!
I did some testing on my end, and if you go to the Attendees screen and actually delete an attendee, the count for that ticket type goes up by one, and the attendee is removed entirely.
It looks like you’re running older versions of our plugins. Can you try updating to the latest versions of the plugins and see if you are still experiencing this issue? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
The current versions are:
The Events Calendar (4.5.12.2)
Event Tickets (4.5.5)
Event Tickets Plus (4.5.4)
Community Events (4.5.5)
Events Calendar Pro (4.4.17)
I see you are also running several extensions for our plugins. If updating does not resolve the issue, could you try deactivating all extensions (so that only our core plugins that I listed above are active) and see if you still get the same result? If you prefer to do this in a testing environment, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 11, 2017 at 8:57 am in reply to: Edit Single Moves Existing Series Ticket(s) to Single Event #1347525Jennifer
KeymasterHi Damron,
Thanks for reaching out!
I did some testing on my end, and breaking a single event from the series did leave the ticket with the series – the event that I broke out did not have any tickets associated with it. To do this, I went to the date I wanted to break away on the front end, and then went to Events > Break from Series on the admin bar (see screenshot).
I’m not quite sure what you are referring to when you say you used the “Edit Single” option…could you please send me a screenshot of how you’re breaking the event out? Also, could you try breaking an event from the series the way I described and see if you get the same result?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ivan,
Per our forum guidelines, we are limited in the amount of support we can provide for customizations. We do have a list of recommended developers that you could contact for help with the code, but I’ll try to point you in the right direction for each of these customizations.
- To change the length of the description, take a look at the excerpt_length filter, found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/general.php.
- To display the location in the event heading, you can edit the template (by following the instructions in our themer’s guide), which can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/single-event.php. The tribe_get_venue or tribe_get_address functions should help you out here.
- To get at least some events to always display (even when there are no events for the day you click on), you can edit the template for the mobile month view (again by following our themer’s guide), which can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/mobile.php.
I see what you mean with the selected date snapping back to “today” when the window size is changed. Unfortunately I don’t have any quick fixes for that, but I would recommend taking a look at the mobile month view template for this change as well.
I hope that helps get you started, and please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Saikat,
I’m glad you were able to get set up! The link in the email usually works, but occasionally some users need to go through the Download page. Sorry for the inconvenience there!
I’ll go ahead and close out this ticket, but please feel free to open a new one if you run into any other issues or have any questions on getting started with Event Tickets Plus.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Louise,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is not a way to do this with the shortcode out of the box, but it could be done with a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot, or we also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
I’d also recommend posting this as a request in our Feature Ideas Forum, which is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Henning,
Thanks for reaching out!
Can you try adding the snippet from this post into the functions.php file of your child theme (without the ‘<?php’ tag at the beginning)? If it interferes with the other required fields you are trying to set, please copy and paste the code you are using here, and I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer
