KeymasterHi Damron,
I’m glad to hear you were able to get it working this way! Thanks for sharing the screenshot – I did some testing using the Edit Single link, but I still was not able to recreate the issue. I would recommend making sure that you’re running the latest versions of all of our plugins (you can see what they are by going to the Downloads Page in your Modern Tribe account). If you are on older versions and don’t see prompts to update in the Plugins section of your WordPress Dashboard, you can update manually by following these instructions.
Since this thread has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Please feel free to open a new one if you have any further questions or run into any other issues!
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 14, 2017 at 4:14 am in reply to: "Who’s Attending" shows deleted attendees and incorrect total #1349065Jennifer
KeymasterHi Steven,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out!
In order to remove the attendee from the front end list, you would actually need to delete the attendee ticket from the Attendees screen. Could you please send me a screenshot of what you are seeing on the Attendee screen as well as on the front end where the attendee list is?
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 14, 2017 at 4:04 am in reply to: Is it possible to have fieldset options with prices? #1349062Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
This is unfortunately not something that is currently available out of the box. Sorry for the bad news there! It could be done via a customization, but this would likely be quite involved. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot!
If you are using WooCommerce to handle checkout, I would recommend taking a look at Product Add-Ons from WooCommerce. I’d also recommend posting this as a request over in our Feature Ideas Forum, which is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ilkka,
Unfortunately this is not something that is currently available out of the box, but I did some research and found this post from WooCommerce…it looks like while this is not currently part of WooCommerce core functionality, there are some plugins that might be able to help you accomplish this:
WooCommerce Cart Stock Reducer
Empty Cart Timer WooCommerce Plugin
If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, please let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum, which is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts. Alternatively, you could also try customizing the plugin to add in this functionality – our themer’s guide would be the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot! We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get some help with the code.
I hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jonathan,
Thanks for reaching out!
Can you please send me a copy of the snippet you are using or a link to where you got it from? If you could share your system information with me, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ivan,
If you make changes directly in the plugin files, then they will be overridden when you update the plugins. However, you can copy some of the templates into your child theme (instructions on doing this can be found in the themer’s guide), in which case the plugins will use those templates instead of the default ones, and your changes will be safe during updates.
For the customization to the description, you would do this in your child theme’s functions.php file using the excerpt_length filter, so this customization will also be safe from changes.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 13, 2017 at 5:39 pm in reply to: Opening hours for venue (art gallery for example) #1348946Jennifer
KeymasterHi Robert,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
You are correct that there is not currently any opening hours functionality associated with venues, but I think the recurring events feature that comes with Events Calendar Pro may do what you are looking for here. You could create an event for the exhibition and then set it to recur Wed-Sun from 11:00-18:00. I took a screenshot of the event edit screen so that you can get an idea of how this would be set up. You could set the applicable venue for the event, and this way, you would be able to display the correct hours for multiple events at a particular venue, even if their times are different from the venue’s regular opening hours.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test out Pro and see if it will work for you! If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Amy,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Sorry for the confusion here, it looks like I spoke too soon – I just double-checked, and stock updates will actually all need to be done manually. If you haven’t done so already, I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some good information on how cancellations/refunds are handled.
Regarding the total tickets sold count, this does not change by default if a ticket is cancelled/refunded, as the ticket has still technically been sold.
I know this can be confusing, but the reason it is set up this way is that there are some cases where users may not want the ticket count/tickets sold to change automatically.
I hope that helps clear things up! Of course, please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Lori,
Thanks for reaching out!
First, could you try updating to the current versions of the plugins (The Events Calendar: 4.5.12.2, Event Tickets Plus: 4.5.4) and see if you can see the attendees? If you don’t see prompts to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
If not, the next step would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins. If you prefer to do this in a testing environment, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
– Be translatable into two languages with the default language being german
Our plugins do come with built-in translations, and we have some support for WPML (with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro – note that Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus do not yet have support for WPML).
I would recommend taking a look at the following articles:
Translating the Events Calendar
How to Override Plugin Language Files
Setting Up The Events Calendar with WPML
– Can list multiple ticket types for two events that are spread over two days but are at different times of the year (one event in feb one in october)
It is possible to have events span multiple (consecutive) days, and you can add multiple ticket types to any event. To have one date in February and one in October, you would need to create two separate events (one for each date) and then add the tickets onto each event.
You could also use a recurring event to have the event repeat in October, but keep in mind that if you add tickets to a recurring event, every event in the series will have the exact same ticket. So if you had an event in February that recurred in October and added a ticket to the event, it would be the very same ticket for both dates.
– Can deal with the event recurring every year (there’s something about the PRO not dealing with recurring events?)
Recurring events are a feature of Events Calendar Pro, and having them recur yearly is no problem! There is actually a variety of recurrence rules that you can set up, and you can add multiple rules to a recurring event. I took a screenshot of the edit screen for you so that you can see how this looks on the back end.
– Can utilise two different currencies, one in £ and one in €
Event Tickets Plus actually uses either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to handle the checkout process, so currency functionality would really be handled more at that level.
I would recommend taking a look at this article regarding WooCommerce and using multiple currencies. Currently, the plugin will only display the price in one currency at a time.
– Is mobile optimised
The events pages are optimized for mobile! You can also make some adjustments in the settings to how much the events pages inherit styling from your theme.
If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer
September 13, 2017 at 9:19 am in reply to: Changing the location of the tickets on a page with a shortcode #1348634Jennifer
KeymasterHi David,
Thanks for reaching out!
The shortcode actually only works with events pages, which are a part of TEC. Sorry for the bad news there!
If you want to change the ticket location on other post types (posts, pages, projects, etc.), then you would need to do a customization. Our themer’s guide is the best place to start if you’d like to give this a shot!
If you do decide to go with TEC, you should see the option appear after TEC has been installed and activated. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
By default, the Events Calendar widget lists events for the current day below the widget, and if you click on a different day that has events, the list below updates to show the events for that day (you can see a demo of that here on wpshindig.com).
You could change this to work the way you described (list the events on a new page) with a customization. I would recommend taking a look at our themer’s guide, which has some great info on customizing our plugins. While we do not do customizations, premium license holders do have access to post in our premium support forums where we will be happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction. We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Emilie,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.
Thanks for testing with a default theme, that is always a good first step! When you did this, did you also have all other plugins deactivated (so that only the Twenty Seventeen theme, The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and WooCommerce were active)? If not, could you please give this a shot and see if you still run into this issue?
Could you also please send me a screenshot or preferably a link to your cart page?
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Eric,
Thanks for reaching out about this!
I did some testing on my end but was not able to recreate the issue. I would recommend checking that you are running the latest versions of the plugins (TEC: 4.5.12.2 and Pro: 4.4.17). If you’re not on the latest versions, you can update by following these instructions.
If you’re still running into this issue with the latest versions, the next step would be testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins.
If you need further assistance troubleshooting, you’ll be able to post in our premium support forums after purchasing a license. We’ll be happy to help you get this figured out over there!
I hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
