Remove required field

Hi, I followed your instruction to make some fields (e.g. URL, venue) a required field and it works fine. But at the same time I have to make the post description a non required field. But I can’t see any approach from the guidelines in “Required Fields for Events Submission Form. Your support is highly appreciated. Cheers Henning

Thanks for reaching out!

Can you try adding the snippet from this post into the functions.php file of your child theme (without the ‘<?php’ tag at the beginning)? If it interferes with the other required fields you are trying to set, please copy and paste the code you are using here, and I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!
