Just wanted to share with you that a new maintenance release (for the Week of 18 September 2017) is out, including a fix for this issue.
You will now be able to import categories using the VEVENT format.
Learn more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-week-18-september-2017/
Please update the plugins and see if the fix works for your site. Don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up.

MemberHi David!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with this topic.
I know some users make use of the WooCommerce Order Status Control extension to autocomplete ticket orders. I’m not sure if it will accomplish exactly what you are looking for but you might want to have a look at it and its functionalities > https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-order-status-control/
The solution you mention will overcome the problem where the user would receive the ticket email even when the order status is still pending payment. So setting the option to Completed only for “When should attendee records be generated” solves that. You can learn more about this settings here >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-specific-ticket-settings/
I hope that helps. Let me know how that works for you and if you have other questions.

MemberHi Linda!
I’m sorry you are having that issue. Let me help you with this topic.
Could you please share the Facebook URL for the group you are trying to import events from?
I will run some tests with it and see if I can reproduce the problem.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Jesus!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that issue.
First, let me note that we unfortunately cannot accept login credentials as stated in our terms.
That is a strange issue. Could you please let me know which browser and version you are using? It seems your site is not publicly available, so could you please try using a different browser and see if any difference?
If you still see the issue in different browsers, then this could be caused by a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/Â and let us know what you find in the process.
Let us know how that goes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Paul!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
I can see the main events calendar showing fine in your site, so if you are using the shortcode in a page, it could be that the template you selected for that page is conflicting with the tribe bar.
Could you please try selecting a different template for that page and see if anything changes? Let me know about it.
Also, please share a link to that page so we can have a closer inspection and see if we can find the problem.
Thanks,

MemberHi Dan!
I’m sorry you are having that issue. Let me help you troubleshoot that.
I’ve just tried reproducing this behaviour in my own installation but failed to do so.
First, could you please share with us your system information by following this guide >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/Â ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Could you please try creating a new event (it can be private or hidden), then add a ticket to it with an end sale date older than 1 day in the past? Does it show the ticket in the frontend? Let us know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Matt!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
If you want to get the attendee data for a ticket purchase we have a great extension that will Add Event and Attendee Information to WooCommerce Order Details > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/
By installing and activating this extension, it will automatically add the information to the WooCommerce “new order email” you receive when a ticket is purchased.
Does it help with what you are looking for? Let me know.
