MemberHi Bette!
I’m sorry you are having that issue. Let me help you troubleshoot it.
First, please make sure to update to the latest versions of our plugins. You can get the latest versions by going to your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
After that, try flushing your permalinks by going to wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes. Do you still have the issues after that?
If you do, it could be related to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.
I suggest you setup a dev/staging site so you can make all these tests without disrupting the live site. We also encourage to make a full backup of your site, both database and files so in case something goes wrong you can always restore your site.
Also, I’m getting a 500: Internal Error in the link you provided, so please share with us a link to the page where you are having the issues in, so we can have a closer look and see if we spot anything from there.
Let us know how that goes and if you have other questions.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Mark!
I’m sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
First, could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything that would indicate an error from there and also try to reproduce the issue on our end.

MemberHi Angela!
Thanks for reaching out to us. Let me help you with this topic.
Could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Also, could you please see if there are any console errors by inpecting the page before you click the Get Authorization button? We have an article that explains how to do that here > <u>https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/</u>
This can also be simply to the fact that you have a members only site, so when trying to get the authorization from Eventbrite, this fails because Eventbrite can’t connect to your site. So, one thing you should also try is disabling the membership plugin you are using and try authorizing.
If you don’t want to disrupt your live site when making all this tests, we suggest you setup a dev/staging to try this.
As a reference, let me point you to this article about configuring Eventbrite Tickets > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-eb-tickets/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHi John!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
Unfortunately, there is no built in option to achieve that. However, I know some users are using the Name Your Price extension for WooCommerce that allows you to add the functionality you are looking for > https://woocommerce.com/products/name-your-price/
It does not work out of the box with our plugin, so it will need some tweaks and probably some custom coding, but if you decide to give it a try, here’s a thread where you’ll find a snippet I came up with as a starting point to making it work > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/woocommerce-name-your-price-extension-and-events-tickets-plus/
I hope it helps. Let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help.

MemberHi Ville!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this issue.
This seems like a conflict with the Essential Grid plugin. Just to confirm, could you please try using the shortcodes in a new page without using the Essential Grid plugin and see if you have the same issue?
If you do, please send us a copy of the Essential Grid plugin in a private reply so we can run some tests and see if we can spot the problem.
Thanks,

MemberHi Johanne,
Thanks for clearing that out.
That is all handled by WooCommerce and/or a third party plugin that adds Paypal Split Payments as payment method.
If you are using the built-in PayPal checkout in WooCommerce you should be able to change that from the WooCommerce settings by going to wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout tab and select PayPal. In there you should be able to edit the title and description for that payment method.
If you are using a third party plugin for that payment method, it would depend on the plugin itself to be able to change the title. If this is your case, then I’d suggest you get in touch with the plugin’s author to see if they can help you with this or check the its documentation.
It might as well be possible to achieve that by a customization on the WooCommerce side of things, in which case I’d suggest you check its documentation > https://docs.woocommerce.com/
The code snippet you mention won’t do anything by itself unless you add some more code to it, but it might need to target a specific piece of code in the payment method setting/plugin.
I hope it helps. Let me know how that goes and if you have other questions.

MemberHi,
I’m sorry you are experiencing those issues. Let me help you troubleshoot this.
As a first step, please make sure to update to the latest versions of The Events Calendar 4.5.12.2. This last couple of versions include several fixes and improvements to the Event Aggregator system that might solve those problems.
If you still have issues after that, please send us a screenshot of the Event Aggregator System Status by going to your wp-admin > Events > Help.
It says we have 165 new events, but we do not. It just hasn’t been syncing at all for 2 weeks.
Where you are seeing this “165 new events” message?
Are your scheduled imports successfully importing? If not, please let us know what error messages you get when going to Events > Imports > History tab and hover over the red exclamation mark.
Could you please share with us the URL where you are trying to import events from?
Thanks,

MemberHi Lucy!
Let me help you with that while Shelby’s out for a few days.
You are correct with what you state. If you have set 3 months for “create recurring events in advanced for”, it will create instances for your recurring events up to 3 months in advanced, regardless of your 6 month long recurring event settings. You can learn more about this here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/#longterm
The slow down in performance you are having could be related to the number of events/instances you currently have. But there are also several things you should take into account if you are having performance issues.
Let me point you to a great article that will get you started on Performance Considerations you should know about. After that, if you decide to implement a caching system then you can move to these articles: Caching: What, when and how and Caching month view HTML in transients
Finally, there is a good article George put up here that groups a set of developer plugins. It’s a bit more technical than the others but will definitely be of help if you are into development.
Just in case, could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the page unresponsive message a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHi guys!
Let me help you with this while Shelby’s out for a few days.
First, let me note that there is no built in way to fetch the “Get Tickets” link from a Facebook event. This is why we have logged a report for this as a feature request to be taken into account in a future feature release cycle of our plugins.
We unfortunately cannot commit to a date for this, but we’ll keep you posted about it.
Jen, If you have concerns about exceeding the 30-day refund policy, you can get in touch with us via our contact form here > https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/ and we might find a way to deal your specific case.

MemberHola Pere!

MemberHi David!
Thanks for coming back with that info.
If you use the import setting “Import events but preserve local changes to event fields” the events have to be updated in order to compare the information from the source with your local events. This is why it’s updated each time the import runs.
Does it help? Let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHi Nancy!
Thanks for following up with this.
Could you please send us a copy of your theme in a private reply? We’ll try to have a look at it and see if we can come up with a way to solve this.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Ryan!
Sorry I misunderstood that, and thanks for clarifying.
Let me note that our Community Tickets plugin does not have that functionality.
Ticket payments are all handled by the e-commerce plugin you use. If you use WooCommerce I found this plugin that allows to include a fee to each payment gateway > https://woocommerce.com/products/payment-gateway-based-fees/.
Bear in mind, we haven’t tested that plugin ourselves so be sure to read it’s documentation or test it our first to see if it fits your exact need.
Is there anything else I can help you with? let me know.
Best,
VictorVictor
