    Hi Robert!

    Thanks for reaching out! I am happy to help!

    You should be able to change the colors by using the WordPress Customizer. If you want to change the event blocks color,  just go to Appearance → Customize and then under The Events Calendar → Month/Week View you can select the Calendar Hightlight Color.

    I understand you are trying to show only a list events, instead of the calendar with the list below. So I recommend you use the Event List Widget so you don’t have to worry about hiding the calendar.

    And if you only want to show a list of today’s events, here’s a snippet that you’ll need to add to your theme’s functions.php file (located at wp-content/themes/your_theme/):

    Let me know how that works for you.

    Hi Lester!

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    While I don´t know exactly why the update notice is not showing up, that has happened before and is more of a glitch than anything. Deactivating and reactivating the plugin usually solves it. But if that doesn’t work you can always make a manual update. Let me know how this works for you.

    Regarding the tags issue, I’m not sure I understand what you mean. How were you displaying those tagged events on the homepage? Were you using a shortcode? If so, which one and how? Let me know so I can give you further assistance with this issue.

    Hi Christopher,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    Unfortunately, there is no default or automatic way to display only those events that have an open registration.

    A workaround for this would be to create a category named “Open for Registration” or similar, and then assign that category to the events that are open. Then, you could link to that category using a url like this: yourdomain.com/events/category/open-for-registration/

    I hope this helps. If you have any other questions on how to accomplish this, let me know and i’ll be happy to help.

    Hi Denise!

    I am sorry to hear about your issue. From what I’ve tested, ACF should print the shortcode without a problem. Because you mention a javascript conflict with Slider Revolution it may all be related to a theme or plugin compatibility issue.

    We are not aware of any issues with ACF or Revolution Slider whatsoever, so I recommend doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ After each step in that process, check if the problem is solved or see any changes.

    Do you see any changes when you do those steps? Let me know how that works for you.

    Hi Ann!

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Plugins are only compatible with WordPress.org self hosted sites. Here is a good insight on the differences between the two: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    I hope that helps! And feel free to ask any other question you may have.

    Hi Alan!

    Thanks for reaching out to us! I am happy to help.

    Recurring events is only available in Events Calendar PRO. And yes, you could schedule events like third Thursday of every month.

    If you decide to give it a try, you can find more information on how to set up a recurring event here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

    I hope that helps and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

    Hi Tom!

    Thanks for reaching out!

    While our “Terms of Service” doesn’t allow us to do customization (see here) I can sneak a small one just to point you in the right direction and see if that helps.

    You may want to try these styles in tribe-events/tribe-events.css and see if it´s a good approach to what you are trying to achieve:

    .tribe-events-calendar thead th {
    background-color: #fff !important;
    color: #333;
    }

    Also, here´s a good article about applying basic modifications within your event pages that may be useful: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Samuel,

    Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help.

    The difference between personal and business licences is that personal is only for 1 site. While business is up to 3 sites. So if you only need it for one site then personal is fine.

    We only take a couple of days to review a request for a non-profit organization, not several weeks. So if you think you can wait that time then feel free to make the submission.

    Here’s all the information you need to apply: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/

    And whenever you are ready you can submit the form here: https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-npp/

    Hope this helps and let me know if there is any other question you have.

    Thanks!
