ParticipantScheduled imports returns an Import Failed message. When I try to manually run the import I get a “Import Failed. Import being fetched is not queued up for importing.” A quick look at the history shows only about 4 out of every 5 events failed.

ParticipantWe get the same issue after updating to the newest version that was supposed to fix the duplicate imports on google calendar.

MemberHi BJ & Justin
I am very sorry this is happening. I would like to narrow down the issue happening here further.
Justin: for tracking purposes, could you open a separate thread reporting your findings?
BJ:
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Finally, please check for Javascript errors: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors.
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂August 15, 2017 at 8:51 am #1335492Shahid
ParticipantI ran into the same issue after refreshing the API key for Facebook imports. Before the API key refresh, things worked fine. After refreshing the API key, I started running into this error whenever the import ran.
I ended up recreating the import and that got things working again. But that is not an optimal solution, given that I’ve now lost all previous event entries on my calendar.

Member@bjkirkpatrick can you provide the source that you are importing from? We believe we have a known bug and would like to replicate the issue for troubleshooting.

ParticipantCourtney,
I performed the plugin and theme test and “Run Manual Import” didn’t
function correctly with all plugins deactivated. I enabled the WP-DEBUG
Mode and no problems were detected. No errors were reported. A few
Scheduled Imports will import but the majority fail. In Scheduled Imports
Imports show *unknown *for the last date when an import fails*. *In
*Scheduled
Imports* I try to *Run Import* manually and it shows “Successfully queued 1
scheduled import” at the top but it shows * Unknown* in the last update
date and “Failed” in the History.Example:
In Scheduled Imports I selected “Run Import” for Facebook Source titled
Rockey and the Bullwinkles (a local band). *Last Import* column shows 1
minute and under *# Imported *column, 35 all time, Latest import 1, Updated
1. When I toggle to the *History* Tab, this manual import has a red
circle with a ! inside – message reads “Import failed: The import being
fetched is not queued up for importing. Please try the import again.”I don’t know anything about writing code or working with php. I use
GoDaddy Managed Hosting. I enabled the DeBug Mode on the Tribe Help page.I tried to check for Javascript errors by using the Firefox Console but I
have absolutely no clue about what any of the results mean.– Empty string passed to getElementById().

not work well with asynchronous panning; see

ParticipantAfter the most recent updates, a lot of the scheduled imports show
“pending”. Still can’t do a manual import. Really frustrating because I
don’t know what has imported and what hasn’t.August 28, 2017 at 11:52 am #1341291Courtney
MemberHi BJ
Can you provide us with a Database Dump? We’d like to set this up on our end. You can email that to support [at] theeventscalendar [.] com
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-make-a-wordpress-database-backup-manually/ is a good overview on how to backup your database.

MemberHi BJ,
Let me help you out with this issue while Courtney is away today.
Thanks for sending out those error logs. These might indicate something in your database is not right.
Could you please try deleting one of those scheduled imports that are failing and re-schedule it again? Does it import after that?
If it doesn’t, please share with us (in a private reply) a dump of your site’s database. The guide Courtney previously shared is a great starting point to do it.
Let us know how that goes and if you have other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
VictorSeptember 20, 2017 at 3:48 pm #1352317Victor
MemberHello!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release for the Event Aggregator server is out including a fix for this issue 🙂
No action is needed on your end, but as always, we recommend you update to the latest versions of our plugins.
Please try it out and let us know if the fix works for your site.
Best,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
