August 28, 2017 at 12:45 pm #1341340Jeff MacklerParticipantThanks. I already tried deleting and recreating several times. Doesn’t help. Now what?
August 28, 2017 at 7:43 pm #1341543VictorKeymasterHi Jeff,
We’ve had a few other users reporting this same error and we’re actively investigating this issue. For the moment we can’t reproduce this issue on our side so we’ll have to make some deeper troubleshooting to see if we can find the source of it.
Could you please send us a screenshot of the Event Aggregator System Status by going to Events > Help?
Also, please try going through the following steps:
- Delete your EA key from your wp-admin > Events > Settings and save
- Disconnect your old license from https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/
- Then re-enter your license again in your wp-admin settings
After that, are you able to run the import?
Could you please also share with us your latest system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,

September 6, 2017 at 5:42 pm #1345736Jeff MacklerParticipantThis is getting ridiculous. I’ve been repeatedly promised fixes to my initial bug, but still not fixed. I’ve since discovered several other bugs, and nothing. I clearly bought a plugin that is not ready for production. What is the status?

September 14, 2017 at 9:57 am #1349352Jeff MacklerParticipantStill no solutions? Another week lost? Are you going to offer me more discounts on future purchases? Seems useless when the first purchase doesn’t work.
September 14, 2017 at 8:26 pm #1349582VictorKeymasterHi Jeff,
Thanks for the patience here and sorry for the frustration so far.
Let me give you an update on the current status of the issues.
The bugfix for the descriptions missing issue has already passed QA and is now pending smoketest. This is intended to be released in next week’s EA server deployment.
We have been doing extensive tests on the scheduled imports issue, but we cannot reproduce the issue unfortunately which makes it difficult to work on a fix for it. Using the database dump of one of our customer we could pint-point a side issue which fix can help with the issue (this patch was released in the hotfix). If you are still experiencing difficulties with Scheduled Imports, the next step would be to have a new database dump of the site with the issues so we can inspect it and try to find the culprit (be sure to mark the reply as private if you send the dump).
To re-test this on your site, follow these steps:
– Update The Events Calendar to the latest version 4.5.12.2.
– Delete one of the scheduled imports.
– Re-create the scheduled import and monitor the results in the History tab.I truly hope this helps, but if not we will firmly continue to help.
Best,
VictorSeptember 20, 2017 at 4:33 pm #1352336VictorKeymasterHi Jeff!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release for the Event Aggregator server is out including a fix for the “descriptions missing” issue.
No action is needed on your end as this is all on our server side of things, but as always, we recommend you update to the latest versions of our plugins.
Please try it out and let us know if the fix works for your site.
Thanks,

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
