Hi Tamara, I’m sorry that this wasn’t clear from the beginning! We have had a few other users attempting to do the same thing, so a clarification of the knowledge article may be in order 🙂

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

    Hi Sinethemba,

Once a guest is checked in, you would need to undo the check-in in order to be able to check in their ticket again. I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some more details on how the check-in process works.

If you have any other questions, would you mind opening up a new thread? This helps us keep things organized and provide more personalized support. We’ll be happy to help you out from there!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Can you try clearing out your browser cache, as well as any caching that you may be doing on your site (such as via a plugin or on your server)? If this doesn’t help, can you please share your system info with me along with a link to the page where this is happening?

    Thanks,

    Hi John,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There is not currently a parameter for that shortcode (or any of our other shortcodes) that would let you do this automatically – you can see the parameters that are available for the tribe_events shortcode here. However, you could potentially get this working the way you’d like to via a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you would like to give this a shot! The template files for list view can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list.

We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can make this customization by doing a template override…the template for this can be found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/list-widget.php. To add in a link to buy tickets/a sold out message, I would recommend taking a look at how this is done in list view (see screenshot). The tribe_tickets_buy_button function might get you what you’re looking for.

We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

Some browsers (such as Safari) automatically unzip files when they are downloaded. If the file you have is not zipped, then you will need to zip it manually before uploading (all plugin files need to be zipped to be uploaded through the WordPress Dashboard). Alternatively, you can upload the plugin manually by following these instructions. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

If not, please make sure that you are running the current version of WordPress (4.9.5)? Also, is this a multi-site install?

Hi Kelly, I’m glad to hear that you were able to get this saved! It sounds like there may have been a conflict somewhere else on your site that was interfering before.

If there is anything else that I can help with, please let me know!

    Hello,

I’m glad that you were able to get the date added in! Unfortunately, tickets do not work this way with recurring events – tickets can be added to the series as a whole, but it is not currently possible to add separate tickets to individual dates in the series. Sorry for the bad news there!

Recurring tickets is something that we are working on adding in the future, but I don’t have a timeline for you at the moment as to when it might be released. In the meantime, you will need to create individual events in order to sell tickets for individual dates. One thing you can do to eliminate repetitive work is create a series of events, then break the events from the series to add the tickets. This will at least eliminate the need to re-enter the same information multiple times for similar events.

I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hi Paul, I’m glad that you were able to get up and running with the Community plugins. If you haven’t come across these already, I would recommend the following articles for more info on how these work:

    New User Primer: Community Events

    Settings Overview: Community Events

    Managing Community Events Submissions

    New User Primer: Community Tickets

    Configuring Community Tickets

Community Tickets: Tracking Sales and Getting Paid

Users can create organizers on the front end by default, provided that the “Users cannot create new Organizers” option is not checked under Events > Settings > Community.

Regarding the additional fields, I was actually referring to a screenshot of the fields on the back end for the event they are missing from (https://quicktraining.ie/course/03-may-17-mulhuddart-dublin-15-solas-safe-pass/). You can see them on the ticket edit section of the event edit screen under “Attendee Information”. Can you please send me a screenshot of what you see there?

In order to keep things organized, we do try to limit threads to one topic. If there is anything else besides these fields that you need help with, please feel free to open up a new thread, and we’ll be happy to help you out with it from there!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

No worries (I’ve made this same mistake myself before), glad to hear that everything is working now!

Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Feel free to open up a new thread if you run into any other issues!

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

It sounds like you’re able to save the key and get a green “Valid key!” message, but when you navigate back to the page, the license key is no longer in the box? Is this correct?

Are you still able to use Event Aggregator? I am wondering if the key is saving but for some reason not appearing in the box. I do see that your Event Aggregator key is registered to your site on my end. If you go to Events > Import, you should see several other options besides CSV. Can you please let me know what options you see there, and share your full system info with me as well?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Lynna,

You can use the custom ticket fields feature of Event Ticket Plus to collect this info for each attendee. You can add these to RSVPs or tickets…If you don’t like the RSVP-style tickets, you can create paid tickets and set the price to $0, or you could also create coupons to make the tickets free. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hi Erin,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re running into all of these issues…themes that come with our plugins often include their own customizations, so as a starting point, I would recommend running through the steps outlined here to see if you are still seeing these issues in a default environment. It may also be best to reach out directly to the theme author to find out about any integrations they have done, especially if you are only seeing these issues with their theme active.

We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum, as we use this to answer questions on our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them. If you have purchased a premium license already for one of our plugins and cannot access your account, please fill out the form on our Contact page by selecting “Help accessing my account”. We’ll be happy to help you get back in from there!

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for checking out our plugins! They can indeed with Community Events. If you would like them to be able to add and sell tickets to their events, then you would need Community Tickets and Event Tickets Plus as well.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take any of our premium plugins for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
