ParticipantI’m creating a landing page and I want the map to be embedded into the middle of my home page. The current shortcode I’m using only allows the map view to show at the top of the page. Is there a shortcode or way that I can get the map view only to show up in the middle of the page?

KeymasterBy default, the map will appear on top of the upcoming events using the [tribe_events view=“map”] shortcode. Is there another shortcode that you’re using, or are you trying to put the map in the middle of the events?
If you want the map (and events) to display in the middle of the other content on your page, then you would need to put the shortcode in the middle of that content on the backend – the map and events will be rendered wherever the shortcode is added (the map is not automatically “stuck” to the top of the page).
Let me know if you have any questions!

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
Please see the screen shots attached (capture). Can you clarify what you mean by “the backend”?. If the map view defaults to the top of the page, what can I do to place the shortcode in the middle of the page (attached screen shot example of where I would like the map view capture1) by putting it “on the backend”?.

ParticipantAlso I’m trying to put the map view into the middle body area of the home page, not on an events only page. I want the map on the home page in the middle of the page.

KeymasterHello,
By “the backend”, I’m referring to the edit screen, where you are placing the shortcode. The map portion of the map view is displayed above the that are also output with the shortcode, but not automatically at the top of the page…it should display inline with the other content, wherever it is placed. So to get it in the middle of the page (or in between whichever content you would like), you would need to place it there on the event edit screen.
Unfortunately your screenshot didn’t come through. If you are replying via email, attachments will not be included, but you can login and upload images directly to the thread.
Can you please also send me a screenshot of where you are adding the shortcode? That might help to clear things up!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantI am trying to achieve the same on a landing page, but by default map appears on top of the page, even after placing the code below the main slider from backend.

KeymasterCan you try clearing out your browser cache, as well as any caching that you may be doing on your site (such as via a plugin or on your server)? If this doesn’t help, can you please share your system info with me along with a link to the page where this is happening?
Thanks,
Jennifer
