KeymasterSorry for the delayed response here, I hope you enjoyed the holidays!
I tried the code you’re using on my end, and I am seeing both single events and recurring events for the current day. Can you send me a link to a screenshot of the recurrence settings for a recurring event that isn’t working? I’ll test it out and see if I can find the issue.
I do want to point out that the event will not display if the end time for the event has passed for that day. So as a test, I would recommend creating a recurring event that ends at 11:59pm to see if this might be the reason the recurring event wasn’t showing up before.

KeymasterHello,
When you delete an attendee, the number of tickets sold does not change, but you should see a “Deleted Attendees:” section appear with the number of attendees that have been deleted.
To clear that out entirely, I would recommend taking a look at the instructions in this post. Let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions!

KeymasterPerfect, I’m glad you’ve got it working now! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to open up a new one if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi Carly,
I’m so glad to hear that this is working now! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you run into any further issues, please open up a new one.
Happy New Year!

KeymasterHi Florian,
You are correct, the extension for the cost field does actually require Event Tickets Plus – my mistake, sorry about that!
To change the translation, you can override the language files (see this article). I’m afraid this is the extent of the support that we are able to provide in the Pre-Sales forum, but if you do go ahead with Events Calendar Pro and still need assistance with this, please let us know in the Events Calendar PRO support forum. We’ll be happy to help you out there!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for purchasing Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus!
I’m not too familiar with how the WooCommerce Bookings plugin works, but there is actually not an out of the box way to link WooCommerce products to Events – for tickets, the way it works is that you create tickets (which are WooCommerce simple products) directly on the event. You can then edit them in WooCommerce if you’d like, and if you want to use the full product page to sell tickets instead of the default ticket form on the events pages, this article has some guidelines on how you can do this.
If you would like to add links to already existing products (tickets or other products), you could add a custom field on the event where you could paste in a link to the products.
I would recommend taking a look at the following articles for more info on how tickets work:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
I hope that helps clear up any confusion! If my recommendations above don’t get things working the way you need, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help you further!

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you’re getting an error with the code…I tested out the code in my local environment and was getting the new title as expected.
Can you make sure that you have
'instead of ‘ and ’ in the code that you pasted? I know this may seem trivial, but sometimes when copying code from other sources, the apostrophes are copied differently and can cause errors.

KeymasterHello,
You actually can use our ticketing plugins and Events Calendar Pro simultaneously and even add tickets/RSVPs to recurring events, but there is a caveat. Adding tickets (paid or RSVPs) to a recurring event adds them to the series as a whole, and it does not create individual instances of the ticket for each date in the series. So, the tickets will show up on each date in the series, but no matter which date the user adds the ticket from, it will be the same ticket in the cart (the date will show as the first date in the series). We are working on improving this functionality for the future, and if you’re interested in this new feature, I would recommend casting your vote for the feature request to stay up to date on progress.
I hope this helps clear things up, but please let me know if you have any questions!

KeymasterHi Ben,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
To allow users to create events from the front-end, you’ll need the Community Events add-on. There is not currently a way to charge users for submitting or featuring an event, but with Community Tickets, you can charge fees for sales of tickets that users create on their events.
Charging for event submission is a highly-requested feature, and we are currently working on adding this functionality to a future release. I don’t have a timeline at the moment as to when this will be released, but I would recommend casting your vote on the feature request so that you can stay up to date on progress.
However, as a site admin you can edit events that users submit, so if you wanted to charge them from outside of the plugin (with WooCommerce for example), you would then be able to go into the event and set it to “featured” yourself.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Philip,
You should indeed see a date picker when you click into one of the date fields.
Are you running the latest versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.8) and Events Calendar Pro (4.4.20.1)? If not, try updating to see if that solves the issue.
If not, then I suspect there is something else on your site conflicting with the plugin and preventing the date picker from displaying. The first thing I would recommend is to check the console for Javascript errors – after clicking in the box to enter the date, right-click the page, select “Inspect” and then console, and copy/paste any errors you see into your reply.
To find the source of the conflict (if there is one), please run through the steps outlined here. If you don’t currently have a staging site and don’t want to disable things on your live site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Please let me know what you find, and if you could also share your system info with me, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Steve,
I’m glad to hear that flushing the permalinks fixed this for you! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to open up a new one if you run into any further issues.

KeymasterHi Amanda,
You can actually move the license key over to the new domain by following the instructions outlined here. No need to change the license! If you run into any issues or have any questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Nick,
Thanks for using Event Tickets!
You could actually do this with a CSS customization (no need to modify the template!). We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum, as we use this forum to answer questions on the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them. If you need further assistance with this, you can post in one of our premium support forums by purchasing a license.
Alternatively, you can post over in our community forum or search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Victoria,
Thanks for checking out our plugins – this sounds like a really neat way to use them!
Using our free plugin The Events Calendar, users can create events on the backend of the site, just like you would for other post types. We also have an add-on called Community Events which lets users create and manage events from the front end of the site, without needing admin access at all.
Event Aggregator is a service that allows you to perform manual or scheduled imports from sites like Facebook, Meetup, Google calendars, and others, and it actually requires The Events Calendar to run. So, you would still have the option to create events from the backend.
There is not currently a widget that would automatically pull GPS info from a page and display events for that area, but as an alternative, you could use the [tribe_events] shortcode that comes with Events Calendar Pro. Although there is not currently a “location” parameter for this shortcode, you could use categories for different locations and display them with [tribe_events category=“denver”].
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to test anything out, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mullaney,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue as well, it is one we are aware of and are working on getting resolved. But I do understand your frustration.
Unfortunately I don’t have a date yet as to when this will be released (although it is listed internally as a higher priority ticket), but as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here.
I’m very sorry that this has caused issues for you with your clients, but we will get it resolved as quickly as we can!
