KeymasterHi Michael,
I’m glad that you were able to at least find the root of the issue. I’d recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see if they have any suggestions for you to resolve this issue.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Levi,
So glad you were able to resolve that error for now!
To further explain scheduled imports: WordPress supports a concept of scheduled events and they can be seen as a sort of regularly occurring background task (a piece of code that, theoretically, runs every 30 mins or at some other interval).
In relation to Event Aggregator, we make use of scheduled events to process imports — however, in the simplest and default case supported by WordPress, they actually are not guaranteed to run at the designated intervals. Furthermore, if they fail, then when they try again depends on the traffic of the site, as well as other factors.
Does that help to answer your question? It’s not an exact science, but in general, those imports will re-run if they fail the first time.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Annette,
This is definitely a strange issue. Can you try using two different Google Map APIs for the theme and your Events?

Let me know how that goes!

KeymasterHi Dan,
Thanks for all of this info. A few more things to try:
- Try changing your end-of-day cutoff to something before midnight and see if that prevents the events from becoming a multi-day event
- Please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see
- Go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out
Let me know how all of that goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Calum,
Unfortunately I do not have any further updates on this bug report beyond my response to other users. This thread will be notified when the fix has been released and we truly appreciate your patience in this process.
Thanks for reaching out!

KeymasterHi Leslie,
Yes, you can add the snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file. The key is to find the exact string and modify that key. You can find all available strings by going to the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar.pot.
The strings that you are looking to change should look as follows:
- ‘Export Events’
- ‘%s From’
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
January 25, 2018 at 3:23 am in reply to: Activate map pin tooltip when user hovers over result item? #1435552Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Javier,
In that case, the javascript file you want to modify is the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/tribe-events.js (and tribe-events.min.js). We don’t have a template override for these files, so you will have to make this change via custom extension/plugin. You have to dequeue our scripts & enqueue your own custom scripts after that.
I hope this helps to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Zach,
Okay, I see the issue sill occurring there.
As a next troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Pete,
Thanks for going through those procedures. Unfortunately, as you have found elsewhere, this is related to a known bug that we are currently working on resolving.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.
I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

I can completely understand the predicament that you are in. What I can tell you is that this is a high priority bug and work has begun to get things fixed. Unfortunately I cannot give you an ETA on it at this time. I wish I had more information for you, but I don’t want to set any false expectations. This thread will be notified when a fix is available.

As Andras mentioned, customization support is limited as stated in our support policy, but I’d love to help point you in the right direction.
The following forum post has a snippet that allows only one category to be used for Related Events:
You can also try using the snippet provided in this forum post about showing Related Events chronologically:

KeymasterHi Mary,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately, none of our plugins are able to create discounts on their own. I usually recommend a WooCommerce product as our plugins are designed to play nicely together. I’m sorry that this scenario doesn’t seem to be working out for you!
Alternatively, you could try adding some custom code to your site to achieve this functionality.
We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
