KeymasterHi Zach,
I still have not been able to replicate this error on my own test site. In the meantime, I have tried to see the error on your site, and everything appears to be working for me. Has the issue been resolved?
If not, can you confirm that you have tried removing all customizations to that page?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Susan,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry that you have experienced this issue!
Can you try manually updating the plugin as a first step? The following tutorial should be able to walk you through the steps:

Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Joakim,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to clarify, you want to include the events in a parent category, but not in the child category for that parent category? Can you give me an example of what you are referring to, as well as the exact shortcode that you are using, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jean-Emmanuel,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are having this issue on your site!
Would you mind providing me with a screenshot of what these events look like on the back end, so that I can run some tests on my end as well?
If the recurring events are created with custom recurrence rules, that tends to cause issues with speed, so that may be something to keep in mind.
Does this affect the front end of your site as well?
Please have a look at our Performance Considerations and see if there is anything you can adjust in order to help your site run better:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/performance-considerations/
After that, you may be interested in caching, so take a look at this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/
In addition, you can check out some of the solutions provided in this forum post:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/decreasing-loading-time-for-big-amount-of-events/
I would also recommend looking into some of the plugins in this blog post, as they may be able to help you pinpoint where site slowness may be occurring:

Let me know how it goes and if you have any additional questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Govinda,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
You can copy and edit the email template (tickets/email.php) to include the custom fields that you are referring to. Our Themer’s Guide can walk you through the steps to execute this customization.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Bart,
Welcome and thanks for reaching out!
When the QR codes are generated they are saved under wp-content/uploads folder (maybe wp-content/uploads/2017/11 if you use the month directory structure). You can log in to your server and check if they are there. Let me know what you see there.
Also, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
