KeymasterHi Andrew,
I completely understand. This is a high priority bug that is currently being worked on, but I cannot provide an exact ETA on when it will be resolved.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

Unfortunately there is not a shortcode to display past events, but you can add a date range to your shortcode, which will force it to show past events:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Alternatively you can try the third-party plugin (not by us!) The Events Calendar Shortcode in order to display past events:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/
Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Mel,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can change the Month View Title using the snippet provided in the following article:

Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Lynn,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Aaron,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

You can try appending the following to your organizer page so that you can display past events for your organizers:

Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHm that is strange. Is the information available there for you to manually copy and paste the system information here in a private reply?

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information.
I’m not immediately able to replicate the issue that you are describing.
This isn’t currently a confirmed issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Can you also provide me with a screenshot of what this event looks like on the backend, so I can try to replicate what you are seeing?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brandon,
Do you still see this issue if you have Elastic Search disabled?
Can you send me a link to the page where you are seeing the issue as well?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
I do see one event duplicating, though I’m not able to exactly replicate what you are seeing.
