KeymasterThanks for going through that testing.
Can you try importing the URL with .com instead, like this:
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/where-could-your-business-sell-online-tickets-48948448126
I tried importing it that way and was able to successfully do so.
Let me know if that works for you!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information.
As a next step, I’d recommend updating your PHP version to at least 5.6. We have changed our PHP version requirement to 5.6 recently, and that may help to resolve your issue:

Let me know if that helps!

Try adding the following CSS to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet:
span.tribe-tickets-left {
display:none;
}Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Kellsey,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
In addition, there are a number of mixed content error messages appearing in the console, so I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin, like this one, in order to resolve those errors.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

To change the default RSVP ticket number to 1 you should make a template override of the template located at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/rsvp.php
In line 64 you should change value=”0″ to 1.
I suggest you check our Themer’s Guide to make sure you are correctly doing the override and not modifying the plugin files directly so you don’t loose the changes when updating to new versions of the plugin.
I hope that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

August 30, 2018 at 6:01 am in reply to: How do I hide Event Tags and Event Categories from my event page Details? #1609582Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
From there, you can find and copy the file from: the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/details.php
Find and delete the category and tag related-lines, which should be around lines 128-143.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jonathan,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Where are you looking to display the event category within month view?
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Manuel,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
If that doesn’t help, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/stylesheets-and-page-templates/
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,

I believe you may be looking for Filter Bar, which allows users to search through events using a variety of filters, including the ability to sort by category.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
