ParticipantThe issue outlined here:
from last September, where month to month view does not work persists with my install despite having installed and paid for the latest update. I need help on this. Why does something I’ve just paid $149 for not work?

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information.
As a next step, I’d recommend updating your PHP version to at least 5.6. We have changed our PHP version requirement to 5.6 recently, and that may help to resolve your issue:

Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

ParticipantOK. Here’s the latest.
I’ve worked with my hosting company and updated to the latest version of PHP.
I’ve even migrated the site to a new server.
The problem persists.
Month to month view on the calendar page still won’t allow movement from this month to the next month.
Why does a $149 plugin with the most up to date version not perform?
Please advise.

KeymasterHello Gary,
Jaime is out currently so I’m taking over.
I’m really sorry about this issue with the month view you are experiencing. I understand how frustrating this must be for you, especially after paying money for it.
Rest assured, we are here to help you get this resolved.
Why does a $149 plugin with the most up to date version not perform?
That is a just question. Our developers are doing their best to ship a calendar without any bugs and works well and fast in all kinds of environments. Unfortunately this is an impossible task due to the number of different environments, hosting providers, system setups etc.
Performance can also depends on a lot of different factors. If interested, you can read more about that here:
To find the source of the issue first we need to rule out any interference by other plugins or the theme. For this reason please go through our conflict testing guide. Let me know what you find.
Looking forward to getting this sorted with you.

KeymasterOne more thing that might help:
Also the week view is having the same issue.
Both month and week view, when clicking on “next >” will make a call to admin-ajax.php and it looks like the response never arrives. Can you please ask your provider if they could check into this?
Also in your system information I see a “max_execution_time = 0”. The default is usually 30, and sometimes even more helps.

ParticipantI’ve no deleted WP Super Cache as that wasn’t working and on my machine I see all calendar functions normally.
But no one else I work with when they visit the site and visit the calendar page can scroll from page to page and from month to month. I’ve tried changing the default view, which again works on my PC but not on anyone else’s.Now what?

ParticipantThat should read:
I’ve now deleted WP Super Cache …

KeymasterHi Gary,
Now I have checked your site and the pagination worked on list view, month view, and week view as well.
Might be the removal of WPSC helped…
Can you check and confirm that it’s also working for you?
Thanks and cheers,
