ParticipantGot this message from a client, I looked at it and was able to replicate.
sta madison.org is the website
“I click Upcoming Events on the homepage, and the calendar pops up with January showing, reasonable since today is January 16.
Suppose I want to look at what is happening on February 10. I click on the red February>> link at the top of the calendar, and February displays. So far, so good.
I click on the View All 5 Events >> link on February 10, and what shows up is not February 10, but January 16!!
To see February 10, I have to hit the back arrow up next to the address bar at the top of the browser window. That takes me back to the display of the whole month of February. If I click the View All 5 Events >> link on February 10 again, this time February 10 appears. Not an intuitive procedure!”January 19, 2018 at 2:55 pm #1431112Jaime Marchwinski

KeymasterHi Zach,
Great, thanks for getting that info to me.
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI have gone through and determined that it is not a plugin issue, or a theme issue.
The one note is that with all plugins and the theme activated if you go to the page http://stamadison.org/eventpage/ it works as it should, but when I go to the page with the plugin embedded with a shortcode it does not work.

KeymasterHi Zach,
Can you provide me with the exact shortcode that you are using, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Zach,
I am checking this page: http://stamadison.org/eventpage/ and I do not see the issue occurring here. If you are still seeing the issue, would you mind pointing me to a date where you see this occurring?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi, that is correct, it is working on that page but not the page with the shortcode
I have tried removing all of the CSS on this page and it is still not working. I need the page that it is on to have the header and the text so it is important to have it working on the page linked above.

KeymasterHi Zach,
Okay, I see the issue sill occurring there.
As a next troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI reset the permalink and cleared my cache and it is still not working properly.

KeymasterHi Zach,
I still have not been able to replicate this error on my own test site. In the meantime, I have tried to see the error on your site, and everything appears to be working for me. Has the issue been resolved?
If not, can you confirm that you have tried removing all customizations to that page?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime
