KeymasterHi Thomas,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I tested the URL for the Facebook group’s event page and experienced the same error as you. However when I tried to import a single event from that page, I was able to do so successfully. Do you have the same results?
In any case, I believe this is an error in the way that specific page was set up on Facebook. It appears to be a different format than other pages that I have seen. Are you the administrator for that page? Any additional information would be helpful!
As Andras mentioned, please provide us your system information in a private reply as well.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Amy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
In general, Community Events works with WordPress default login and user system, so you should be able to see your users’ contact information on the back end if they are logged in.
If you’d like to add additional information to the Community Events submission form, I’d recommend copying and editing the template file for the submission form. Our Themer’s Guide can help to lead you through this process. The files to look at are community/edit-events.php and community/event-list.php.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Dale,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I apologize for the delay, as we are currently experiencing a high volume of threads. In any case, it appears that List, Day, and Week views seem to be working as expected.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance or have any other questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Kelly,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Karly,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately we don’t have a snippet for this functionality, as it would require quite a bit of customization work.
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations.

KeymasterHi Pam,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is not an automatic way to have a CSV created without clicking on the Export button yourself. However, you will find that this is a very quick and simple process to export the data and create a CSV.

KeymasterHi Ilkka,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information.
I imported both of the CSVs that you provided and I found the same results, that no End Sale Date appeared when I went to the Edit Event page. The Start Sale Date defaults to today. Can you try adding in a start date to at least one of your events and see what results you find? Here is a screenshot of what I see on that screen, are you seeing similar results?

Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Edward,
Thanks for reaching out again!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
We don’t have a whole lot of documentation on creating your own view, however I’d recommend checking out some fo the tips in these forum posts:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/can-i-make-my-own-custom-views/
Beyond that, I’d recommend looking at the code related to the available views to see if you can achieve what you are looking for. Our Themer’s Guide is a great jumping off point.

KeymasterHi Kevin,
I see what you are saying. You’d like to create a scheduled import with selected events. You can add categories or tags to your events from your site, and those should be searchable as keywords, which you ca filter through. Titles and dates can also be used to filter through your results.
Here is more information on how to create a saved recurring import with a variety of options:

January 24, 2018 at 8:56 am in reply to: Activate map pin tooltip when user hovers over result item? #1434781Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Javier,
You can find the tooltip templates at the following locations:
- core/src/views/month/tooltip.php
- pro/src/views/week/tooltip.php
If you’d like to overwrite a file, I’d recommend copying it, as outlined in the Themer’s Guide that I referenced above.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Levi,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information. I have set up a daily scheduled import for that URL on my site so that I can do some testing as well. So far, everything imported properly, but I will continue to monitor the scheduled import to see how things go tomorrow.
Regarding the scheduled imports, if the import fails, that may be affecting your daily limit. Here’s more information on how Import Limits work:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregators-import-limits-work/
As a next step, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see.
Also, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play. The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime
January 24, 2018 at 4:19 am in reply to: Event Calendar Times Displaying Incorrectly in Google Search Results #1434479Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Angela,
The article I provided above from Google explains how to recrawl your site when everything is displayed correctly on your site, so that is still a viable starting point if you are up for it.
I’d also recommend settings up a Google Webmaster account (if you don’t already have one), so that you can further troubleshoot there as well.
Also, if you could link me to the threads that you are referring to, I could take a look at those as well.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Kerry,
Yes, you are right. Unfortunately you cannot import events from private groups at this time.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Matt,
The code should not affect the look of your footer on other parts of your site, because the footer is already full-length there. I understand your hesitation to implement a sitewide change, and if this solution isn’t a workable one for you, you may want to do some further investigation and see if the theme is conflicting with The Events Calendar and changing the footer. You can start this process by changing to a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’ and see if the footer issue is resolved there.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Jaime
Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Zach,
I am checking this page: http://stamadison.org/eventpage/ and I do not see the issue occurring here. If you are still seeing the issue, would you mind pointing me to a date where you see this occurring?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime
