ParticipantWe have two websites that use Events Calendar Pro. We want to import some, but not all, events from one (http://www.gogreenwilmette.org) to the other (https://www.gogreenillinois.org). The only way I could figure out how to automatically import from one to the other was to use the “via URL” feature, using http://www.gogreenwilmette.org/calendar/list/ as the source. This seems to work, although we had some glitches that stop the importing altogether. But I would like to filter the import so that not all events from the first URL import into the second. I think using keywords is the way to go, but I don’t know how to implement that. Please help.

KeymasterHi Kevin,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
When you import from another URL, you will see a preview of all of your events to be imported. You can select the checkbox on the left-hand side, and select only the events that you’d like to import.

Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantIt seems that you are talking about using the “New Import” tab and entering the URL in each time. What if I want to use the scheduled import and have it import automatically on a daily basis? There is an option to use keywords to filter the imports, but I can’t figure out where or how to add keywords to the event on the source side. Thanks.

KeymasterHi Kevin,
I see what you are saying. You’d like to create a scheduled import with selected events. You can add categories or tags to your events from your site, and those should be searchable as keywords, which you ca filter through. Titles and dates can also be used to filter through your results.
Here is more information on how to create a saved recurring import with a variety of options:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
