KeymasterHi Dallas,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have tried all of the things you suggested before starting this support ticket.
On my dev installation everything is working fine. On the live site is where I am getting the errors when trying to export.
So I tried reverting back to a default template with no other plugins activated except for the events calendar and events tickets and event tickets plus and a maintenance plugin. I still got the errors.
I tried debugging and didn’t see any other errors being thrown.
The hosting company that the live site is on is ICDsoft. The dev site is Bluehost. Not sure if there are any known issues with ICDsoft?Could you please help me with this issue?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Dallas,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information!
When you get those errors, is there any loss of functionality on your site? In other words, are you able to still export your attendees without issue or are you unable to export your attendees when these error messages occur?
These are warnings, and therefore if there is no loss of functionality to your site, you can hide these errors by setting WP_DEBUG to false.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Dallas,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information. Unfortunately, I can confirm that this is related to a known bug. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.
I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
Thanks for the ongoing help. Canyou at least confirm that the dev team is actively addressing this issue. Without the export functionality, my client will no longer be able to use the plugins as it was one of the main features they requested.
Everything was working normally until a recent update so it hard for me to explain to them that this is something that ‘just happened’ and that ‘hopefully’ it will be fixed ‘sometime soon’.
I’m sure you can see what an odd position it puts me in as their webmaster. If I could at least give them some sort of timeline or meaningfully hopeful words, it would help.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Dallas,
I can completely understand the predicament that you are in. What I can tell you is that this is a high priority bug and work has begun to get things fixed. Unfortunately I cannot give you an ETA on it at this time. I wish I had more information for you, but I don’t want to set any false expectations. This thread will be notified when a fix is available.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or want any further updates in the future.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Dallas,
I’m sorry that there is another functionality that isn’t working as well. Please open a new thread in order to address and troubleshoot that issue, so that we can better assist you there.
Unfortunately we can not issue a refund for a product that is past the 30-day refund policy limit.
For now, I would recommend rolling back to ET / ET+ 4.6 as a workaround. You can find previous versions of our plugins on your Downloads page.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantThanks, rolling back the plugin to 4.6 has temporarily solved the issue. Before I rolled back, I tried installing the latest update and saw that it did not fix the issue. I hope that the issue will eventually be addressed. I like to keep all of my plugins updated to the latest version and take advantage of all of the latest fixes and features.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Dallas,
I’m glad this workaround works for you for now. This thread will be updated as soon as a fix for this issue becomes available.
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

MemberHey,
Reaching out to let you know we released a hotfix for Event Tickets that addresses the issue with the attendees CSV export. We appreciate the patience while we worked a fix out.
Please update Events Tickets to version 4.6.3.1 and let us know if the fix works for your site. This fix should solve the problem for Event Tickets Plus users as well (no update required to this plugin).

ParticipantHi,
Does this fix also address the issue with the ’email’ function? I was previously getting emails with error messages in them as well as the export function error messages.
Thanks,
DallasFebruary 28, 2018 at 10:15 am #1466234Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Dallas,
This fix just addresses the issue with the attendees CSV export. If you have a separate issue, please open up a new thread so that we can address it there.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
