MemberHi Greg!
I’m sorry you had trouble posting in the forum. I’m not sure where exactly you experience this problem. Would you mind letting us know more about this ? We will definitely take a look and fix any error present.
In regards to the QR code, there is no built in option to disable the QR code in the the ticket email. However, we do have an extension that allows you to remove the QR code > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/hide-qr-code-from-event-emails/
If you want to further customize the ticket email you can do so by using one of the methods described in our themer’s guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Please try it out and see if it works for you.

MemberHi Marte!
Thanks for following up with this.
It’s good you could narrow down the problem to the template override. This indicates there is a problem with the customizations you made into those template.
Please let me note that we are fairly limited in how much support we can give for this type of customization.
That said, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as much possible. Could you please share with us a copy of your template overrides (in a private reply if you’d like) ? I will have a look at them and see if I can find the conflicting code.
Let me know about that.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Matthew!
Thanks for following up with this.
Indeed, those fields you mention are missing from the export. I have specified this problem in the bug report as well.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a workaround for the missing fields, which seem to be related to that error message showing up.
We will keep you posted about the fix as soon as it is released.
Hey @romakoinonia! Thanks for chiming in to share how you could hide the error messages.
Thank you both for your cooperation and patience.

MemberHi Rivet!
Thanks for following up with this thread.
I am not able to see your complete system information in your previous post. Could you please copy and paste in a private reply your complete system information by going to wp-admin > Events > Help ?
Although I could not find the exact page in your site where you are having this issue, I do see a Javascript error in your main events page. To discard any theme or plugin conflicts, the best approach would be to test for conflicts > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Also, please make sure you are using the latest version of The Events Calendar.
If you see no difference when switching to a default theme and deactivating all other plugins, then we’ll need to make some deeper troubleshooting.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor

MemberHi David!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that issue.
First, my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. It seems that your consecutive posts made this thread to not show up as a priority in the queue somehow and we’ve just saw it.
I made several tests with the recurring events trying to reproduce the same PHP Warning, but failed to do so.
Just to confirm, are you getting that error when editing an existing event or also when creating a new event from scratch?
Could you please share with us your complete debug.log file so we can have a look and see if we can find any other log that would indicate a problem.
I see you have tried the following:
- Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
- Switched to a default theme? Yes
Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?
If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.
Please let me know about that.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi David!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with this topic.
Setting the Single event URL slug to “staff” does indeed create a conflict with this page > http://domain.com/staff/calendar because it will be reserved to a single event with a slug of “calendar” even if it’s not created.
Unfortunately, there is no built-in way to work out this limitation. You could probably build a workaround for this with some custom coding, but we are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like this one.
If you decide to go ahead and try to build some custom code for it and bump into a problem, feel free to reach us out and we’ll try to help as much possible.
As a reference, you should always try to stick to our permalinks best practices > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Karl!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
I think you can achieve what you are looking for by using the ‘tribe_events_title_tag‘ filter we provide. As a reference, you can find the filter in here > https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/master/src/Tribe/Template_Factory.php#L351
We also have a good article that shows how you can customize the browser title by using that same filter > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-browser-title-for-calendar-views/
I hope that helps. Let me know how that works for you.

MemberHi Becky!
I’m sorry you are experiencing those issues. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
First, could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Please share a link to an event where you are having the issue so we can have as reference. Additionally, could you please send us a screenshot of the edit event screen in the backend where we can see the time, date and the recurring settings for the event you are having the issue with?
I can see you have tried the following:
- Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
- Switched to a default theme? Yes
Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?
If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting
Please let me know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
