    Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for reaching out! This functionality is actually provided by the core version of The Events Calendar and does not require Event Aggregator to function properly. Simply grab the URL from the Export Events button when viewing your calendar in List View, then add this URL to your calendar application of choice! This will add the next batch of upcoming events to your calendar, and new events will be synced automatically going forward in time. You can read more about exporting events from The Events Calendar on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/exporting-events/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! 🙂

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for reaching out! Our legacy Facebook importing plugin, Facebook Events, has been discontinued in favor of our all-in-one Event Aggregator solution. You’ll find the familiar Facebook importing functionality included in Event Aggregator, along with support for a variety of additional formats and more options to increase the power and flexibility of your imports. A full rundown of the plugin’s features can be found on the product page linked above–I’d be glad to answer any specific questions you might have after giving it a look over! 🙂

I hope that helps! Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that I can do for you. Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, Community Events does not include support for paid event submissions at this time. However, this feature is slated to be added as part of a future product update! You can keep up with the latest updates on this feature in development by following its UserVoice page:

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3762678-charge-for-event-submission-and-premium-featured-e

If paid event submissions are a critical feature for your intended project, I’d suggest enlisting the services of a qualified third-party developer to assist you in building this feature out. We maintain a list of third-party developers on our Knowledgebase who are happy to take on projects related to our plugins–feel free to reach out to any one of them to discuss your project details!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for stopping by! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your bakery business–what a cool potential use of our ticketing software! 🙂

Much of what you describe here may be possible “out of the box” or with some light tweaking/customization work on the part of you or your web developer:

    • While it’s not currently possible to add links to names or descriptions for tickets, you could create your product pages as pages or custom post types and drop links for each into the description for your event. This would also give you a bit of extra space to work with, allowing you to add other content (such as thumbnails or a brief bit of description) to entice people to click to the full product page.
    • For linking product pages back to upcoming bake days for those products, I’d suggest creating a category or tag for each loaf in your repertoire and categorizing or tagging bake days with the loaves that will be available on that day. You can then add a list to the product page that will pull the next x bake days featuring that loaf, either using a custom loop with tribe_get_events or WP_Query or with Events Calendar PRO’s [tribe_events] shortcode.

Unfortunately, we don’t offer support for saving tickets to be reused at this time (though we do offer this functionality for custom attendee information fields). If you’re interested in building out this or any other complex feature requests for your site, I’d consider reaching out a third-party developer who works with our plugins! We maintain a list of developers on our Knowledgebase here:

I hope that helps to get you started here! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns here. Cheers, and thanks again for reaching out!

    Hi Luca,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Automatic email notification for RSVPs is included with both the free version of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. Edit: Email notification is not available for RSVPs, though paid ticket orders placed through Event Tickets Plus will generate an order notification email. You’ll receive all notification emails at the admin email specified in your WordPress settings. 🙂

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

in reply to: Events Calendar Pro: ical-Feed with ALL events? #1338263

    Hi Jens,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’m afraid that there have been no recent changes to our iCal/ICS exports, and the information supplied in your linked post still holds. It’s worth noting that our iCal feed URLs will continue to import events as the current date advances into the future, so a feed that only appears to import a limited number of events will bring in more current events over time.

That said, we do appreciate that users may have different needs, and it may be necessary at times to import all events (even far-off ones) in a single pass! For the best results, we recommend using this URL format for your iCal exports:

    [yourcalendar.com]/?tribe_paged=0&tribe_event_display=list&ical=1&tribe_display=list

For more information on our iCal feeds and exploring possible customization options, this forum thread might be worth a look:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/export-all-events-to-ics-file/

We’d also be glad to have you share your feature suggestions for future product releases on our UserVoice forum! Submitting your ideas here will allow other users to vote their interest and share comments–it’s a great way to get your ideas on our development team’s radar for future builds. This existing feature request might provide just the functionality you’re looking for!

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/9888918-allow-ics-export-for-entire-calendar-year

I’m sorry that we’re not able to provide exactly what you’re looking for in this case. That said, I hope that one or more of these resources might be helpful to you! Thanks again for getting in touch, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

in reply to: Week View and JSON output #1338235

    Hi David,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Our Week View in Events Calendar PRO is designed to display a small visual overlap on events with overlapping times–this is intended behavior at desktop resolutions! You can see some examples in the product screenshots on the Events Calendar PRO product page:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

If you prefer the mobile styling for Week View, you can always override the desktop styling so that mobile styling always displays for this view. For more information on customizing the look and feel of our plugins, check out our Themer’s Guide!

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Lastly, I’m afraid that we don’t support JSON export for our calendar events at this time. I’m sorry to disappoint. 🙁 At the moment, The Events Calendar includes built-in support for exporting events in iCal/ICS format (and, of course, WordPress’s XML for custom post types). You can read more about this type of export on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/exporting-events/

I hope that helps to get you started here! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns. Cheers, and thanks again! 🙂

    Hi Scout,

Thanks for following up! That’s correct–by itself, CSS will not prevent unauthorized users from obtaining URLs for single events and viewing those events. If you want to limit access to certain events by user roles, you may wish to consider setting all private events to “Private” status when posting, then setting your user role permissions to allow certain logged-in users to view these posts. Our Knowledgebase article here provides some more information about user roles and our plugins:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/

Event Aggregator is not included as part of our nonprofit program, but accepted organizations may purchase Event Aggregator licensing (or any of our other plugins) at a discount.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Maria,

Thanks for reaching out. This issue was resolved earlier this month via email when a new license key was generated for this renewal on your [email protected] account. Please ensure that you’ve entered this new license key in place of your existing one on your WordPress site. You can find the license key field for Events Calendar PRO by logging in to your site’s backend and navigating to Events > Settings > License Keys from your WordPress sidebar. Once you’ve entered this new license key in place of the old one and saved your changes, you should have regular access to plugin updates once again.

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to continue the conversation with us over in email–we’d be more than glad to assist further. Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Scout,

Thanks for stopping by and having a look at our Events Calendar PRO plugin! 🙂 While there’s no built-in option for defining “private” events with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, there are ways that you could achieve this type of functionality on your site. I’d suggest having a look at our Knowledgebase article on “members-only” calendars, as the information there may be useful to you!

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/

“Method Two” outlined in this article details the process for creating a category of events that will be hidden for anonymous visitors. Logged-in users, however, will see these events displayed as usual. By modifying this example, you should be able to hide one or more categories from your main calendars while allowing them to be viewed on your private calendars.

Regarding your private calendars, the [tribe_events] shortcode should, indeed, allow you to place a category-specific calendar onto any page you’d like. You can then use WordPress’s built-in password functionality to hide the calendar and other page content from random users.

Lastly, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve included Event Aggregator as part of your setup, as this add-on contains the functionality required to import events from Google Calendar!

I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns. Cheers, and best of luck with your project!

    Hi Vince,

Thanks for reaching out! While there’s no easy way at this time to display duplicate form fields equal to the number of tickets in a single purchase, you can achieve a very similar functionality by using our attendee information fields. Simply add additional fields to your ticket forms for extra names, and use the multi-line text field option to allow extra space for multiple entries. You can read more about this feature of Event Tickets Plus on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂
