KeymasterGreat, if it’s not working the way you’d like it to after that, please let me know and I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!

KeymasterHi Steve,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but we are not able to provide technical support here in our Pre-Sales Forum. You might try installing Advanced Post Manager or unchecking some columns in the Screen Options menu.
If you need further assistance with this, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Julie,
Unfortunately this message is not displaying in the current version of Event Tickets Plus – we do have an internal ticket open to address this issue. In the meantime, you can downgrade ET+ to get the message back. If you would like to do this, you can follow these instructions (they are the same for upgrading or downgrading).
Unfortunately I don’t have a timeline at the moment as to when this will be released. I did link this thread to our internal ticket, so as soon as we have an update on this, we will let you know here.
I apologize for the inconvenience here, but thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
January 19, 2018 at 10:10 am in reply to: Upgraded to Pro but can't create or add Venue with map to event #1430782Jennifer
KeymasterHi Brandon,
I’m sorry that you’re not able to add venues to events, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. Can you please send me a screenshot of what you see in the venue section of the event edit screen? Do you see the same thing for organizers, or are you able to create and add organizers normally?
If you haven’t done so already, please try running through the steps outlined here to see if there may be a conflict with your theme or another plugin (make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and send me any error messages you may encounter). If you don’t have a testing site and prefer not to do this in your live site, I would recommend the free WP Staging plugin, which will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Finally, please also check for Javascript errors on the page by opening up the console (right click > Inspect > Console) and try to recreate the issue. If you see any errors, please copy/paste them here.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Pamela,
It’s great to hear that you’re liking the plugins so far!
The “Full Name” and “Email” fields that you see in your screenshot are required by default, but I see that you have also added required name and email fields as additional fields the ticket, which will need to be filled in for each attendee, not just the person reserving the tickets.
Just to clarify, are you wanting to just remove the default fields at the bottom, or to send an RSVP confirmation to the email address for each attendee?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Lane,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with Event Aggregator…can you try following the instructions here to disconnect your EA license from your site and then reconnect it? Please let me know if this works for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Justin,
I’m sorry for the confusion, but it is currently either Events Calendar Pro or Event Tickets Plus. In my initial response, I meant that out of all of our products, those are the only ones that organizations can apply for free licenses for. I can definitely see how you thought I meant both, so I’m sorry about that!
We do occasionally run promotions, so I would recommend also subscribing to our newsletter to stay up to date. I’m sorry for the bad news here, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterThanks for pointing out that extension Frankie! Lance, can you give this a try and see if it will work for you?

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry the featured image isn’t working with the shortcode. I tested this out in my local environment but was not able to recreate the issue…the image was showing up in the tooltip for me using the shortcode.
I do see that the image source is correct on your default events page (see screenshot) but not on the page with the shortcode (see screenshot).
Can you try running through these steps to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins, making sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled while testing? Also, please share your system info with me so that I can see if there is anything there that might be causing this issue.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterI’m sorry Event Tickets Plus isn’t working out for you, but I went ahead and processed your refund. Best of luck in finding a solution that works for your project 🙂 If there’s anything that we can help you out with in the future, please let us know!

KeymasterHi Tony,
Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus! I’m glad to hear that you’re liking Event Tickets so far 🙂
You can indeed create custom fields on each ticket, which will let you collect additional information for each attendee. The available field types are checkbox, text, radio, and dropdown. Regarding creating a seating chart, this article has some more details on how you could set this up.
We currently do not have tutorial videos, but we do have an extensive knowledgebase. The following articles should be helpful in getting set up:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
If you purchase a premium license, that does include access to post in our Help Desk, where we are happy to help you out if you have any questions or run into any issues with Event Tickets Plus.
We do offer a Nonprofit Partnership Program that provides a free license of Event Tickets Plus or Events Calendar Pro to approved nonprofit organizations, but this license does not include access to the Help Desk. If you would like to apply for this, you can do so here.
Managing attendees is a built-in feature, and while notifying admins of new purchases is not, this is a possibility by doing a customization. There are some snippets in previous forum posts for RSVPs that could be modified to work for paid tickets as well.
The license means that you can update the plugin and receive support in the Help Desk for one year. After it expires, you will still be able to use the plugin as before, but you will no longer be able to update it. If you continue updating other things on your site (such as our free event and ticketing plugins, WordPress, etc.), then you may eventually run into compatibility issues with Event Tickets Plus.
By default, the ticketing section appears on single pages for events or other enabled post types, but you could also sell tickets from the full WooCommerce product page, or try using the default WooCommerce product shortcodes (tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products).
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Michael,
I’m sorry for the delayed response here! Your thread wasn’t listed as waiting, and it slipped through the cracks. 🙁 So sorry about that!
It sounds like you may not have installed Events Calendar Pro on your main site yet, is that correct? If so, you will need to install it, but not “Network activate” it. Once it’s installed on your main site, you can go to the individual subsites that you want to use it on and activate it there under the Plugins section on each subsite. In order to do this, you may need to check “Plugins” in the “Enable administration menus” setting under Settings > Network Settings on your main site.
If you have not downloaded Pro already, you can do so here.
Apologies again for the delay, but please let me know if this works!

KeymasterHi Ronald,
I’m glad that reseting the timezone resolved this for you. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Jurgen,
Event Tickets Plus requires either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to handle the checkout and payment processing. Can you try installing and activating one of these and see if that gives you the option to create a paid ticket?
I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles, which should help you get up and running with Event Tickets Plus:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
Please let me know if this helps and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
