Hello,
I purchased Events Calendar Pro for my new WordPress website. The programmer I hired is saying the Events Calendar Pro plugin is not compatible with the theme I purchased. This is the theme I purchased: https://www.templatemonster.com/demo/59096.html
I wanted it placed below the second module (“read more” box) then I will leave out the next modules except the footer. Can you please confirm that your plugin is not compatible?
Thank you,

Since we adhere to WordPress best practices when writing our plugins, they typically play pretty well with other themes and plugins that do the same (this article has some additional info on theme compatibility). However, with so many different themes and plugins out there, there are certainly cases where conflicts arise. I took a look through some of our past threads but didn’t see any reports of conflicts with this particular theme.
It sounds like you were trying to display the calendar on the home page…were you not able to get it to display? Also, did your developer mention in what way the theme and plugin are incompatible?
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for theme conflicts, but if you can provide some more details on what isn’t working (and send me any errors you might be encountering), I’d be happy to run this by one of our developers and see if there is anything we can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer

Thank you for replying. I contacted my Programmer and here is his response:
Please look at these two URLs :
http://2b0.50a.myftpupload.com/events/
https://msshohan24.000webhostapp.com/eventsFor the first link, I used your given theme and for the second link I have
used “twenty seventeen” theme. I think you can see the difference and what I
am talking about. Please refer them these two URLs so that they can
understand what we want them to look at. Thank you.January 17, 2018 at 6:30 am #1428427egseniorcenterParticipantHello Jennifer,

Any luck? I activated the share system. Also, I do not think my last post was sent as private. Can you please change to private since it contains a link?
January 30, 2018 at 3:32 pm #1440187JenniferKeymasterHi Mona,
Unfortunately your system info did not come through. Can you please copy it from the Events > Help > System Information section and paste it into a private reply?
I’m still doing some testing on the theme – so sorry for the delay, we’ve had an unusually high number of threads here lately! I should be able to get back to you on this in the next couple of days.
Thanks,
Jennifer

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
