ParticipantI upgraded to Pro (or renewed my license) thinking it was going to fix the issue of not being able to create or add a venue to a new or existing event. When I look at a new event, the Venue button is clickable but doesn’t do anything.

KeymasterHi Brandon,
I’m sorry that you’re not able to add venues to events, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. Can you please send me a screenshot of what you see in the venue section of the event edit screen? Do you see the same thing for organizers, or are you able to create and add organizers normally?
If you haven’t done so already, please try running through the steps outlined here to see if there may be a conflict with your theme or another plugin (make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and send me any error messages you may encounter). If you don’t have a testing site and prefer not to do this in your live site, I would recommend the free WP Staging plugin, which will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Finally, please also check for Javascript errors on the page by opening up the console (right click > Inspect > Console) and try to recreate the issue. If you see any errors, please copy/paste them here.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHere is the venue. The same thing happens for the Organizer section. I am unable to click and choose a venue or organizer.

I was able to determine that this calendar has a conflict with the Timely All-in-one calendar. The only problem is that we use that calendar for the public facing on the front end of the website and the events calendar with pro add-on for the backend where the members view it. Do you know a way around this conflict that wasn’t present before the last update I am assuming?

KeymasterHi Brandon,
I haven’t seen any other reports of this specific issue with the All-In-One calendar, but I did just test this out on my end with the Timely calendar enabled and was also not able to add a venue/organizer. If this was working for you in the previous version, then I would recommend downgrading for the time being – We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for plugin conflicts, I will check with one of our developers to see if there is anything we can recommend.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Brandon,
Thanks for your patience on this!
I talked to one of our developers, and it looks like the conflict is with the All-in-One calendar’s bootstrap.min.css stylesheet, which is being enqueued on our events page as well. If you can prevent this from being enqueued on pages that are not part of that plugin, this will likely solve the issue.
I would recommend reaching out to Timely’s support team to see if they can help you out with this. If there is anything else that I can help with, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
