KeymasterHi Michelle,
Thanks for purchasing Events Calendar Pro! You can replace your existing key with your new one under Events > Settings > Licenses by following these instructions.
Can you give this a try and let me know if you are able to get it switched out?
Thanks,

KeymasterHello,
You can move your license key to your new site by following the instructions outlined here, which should get rid of that message on your new site. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Logan,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. First, can you try updating to the latest versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.9) and Events Calendar Pro (4.4.21)? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
Next, can you please send me a screenshot of all of your recurrence settings for this event?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Abraham,
You can remove that section by hiding it with CSS or by customizing the single-event.php template by following the instructions in our themer’s guide. Avada does add its own styling to our themes, so instead of copying over the default template from the plugin, you may want to start with the one found at wp-content/themes/Avada/tribe-events/single-event.php. Once you’ve copied it over, you can delete that section from the template.
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know. I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Matt!
You can edit the bar and remove/change the text there by following the instructions in our themer’s guide…the template you’ll want can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/bar.php.

KeymasterHello,
It looks like the version you are currently running is a bit older. Can you first try updating Pro to the current version (4.4.21)? You can do so by following the instructions here. If you are still running into this issue after updating, then please try running through these steps.
Let me know if this works!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Elaine,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
- There is not currently an out of the box way to change the “RSVP” label (in either version), but you could do so with a customization – see this thread for more details.
- You can add multiple tickets (such as adult and child tickets) to a post with Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus. The difference is that tickets from Event Tickets will be RSVP-style tickets (free), but you can charge for tickets from Event Tickets Plus.
- There is not a way to add a description to the RSVP-style tickets, but since tickets in Event Tickets Plus are essentially WooCommerce simple products (if you select WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform – Easy Digital Downloads is another option you have), you can edit the ticket in WooCommerce and add a description there.
- You can remove the dropdown with a customization – this post has an example to help you get started.
- Event Tickets Plus has a custom fields feature that will allow you to collect additional information from each attendee.
I would recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some more details on how Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus work and what features are available:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
You can find this link in the wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php. Our themer’s guide has instructions on how you can customize templates. You’ll want to edit the following line:

KeymasterHi Nathan,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
The easiest way to display a school term like that would be to assign the events categories (like “spring term” and “fall term”) and then use the shortcodes that come with Events Calendar Pro to add them to a page on your site. You can include a “category” parameter to only display events from a certain category. If you are referring to displaying an entire term in month view, then currently only one month can be displayed at a time, but you could display all events for a term using list, photo, or map view (note that photo and map view are features of Pro). Alternatively, if you want to dive into some PHP, you can also use the tribe_get_events function to pull a custom events query and specify a date range (the range for the term).
The calendar is not really built to be printed, but there are a few things that you can try to make it more “print-friendly”:
-The free Print, PDF, Email plugin
-The free DK PDF plugin
–This snippet that will add some CSS styles to make the calendar more print-friendly
Month view is included in our free plugin The Events Calendar, so you can test this out on a staging site to see if you can get it working.
Events will not appear on the front end unless they are published, so you can indeed have drafts that will not appear on the front end until published, giving you a chance to review them. If you are looking for users to be able to submit events from the front end of the site (without having admin access), then I would recommend checking out Community Events. You can choose the default status that events are submitted into, allowing admins to approve events before they are published.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro or Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I took a look at your system info, and it looks like you’re running an older version of WordPress. Can you try updating to the current version (4.9.2) and see if that makes a difference? If not, you can try deleting The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and reinstalling them on your site.
I would also recommend running through these steps to see if you can find any conflicts with either your theme or another one of your plugins. Make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing, and send me any errors that you run into.
It sounds like you’re running Pro on your live site without any problems? If so, I would try to see if you can find any differences between the two and investigate those further.
I hope this helps, and let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
We have a free extension that will let you change the “organizers” label to anything you would like. Can you give this a try and let me know if it will work for you?
Thanks!

KeymasterHello,
First, thanks for looking into this so thoroughly! You are correct – there is currently an issue where the latitude and longitude are not being saved when you create a venue, causing events with that venue to not display in map view. The good news is that the fix is being worked on and should be released soon. In the meantime, you should be able to get everything displaying correctly in map view by manually entering the latitude and longitude on the venue edit screen. It sounds like this has been working for you so far?
I know this is not ideal, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. As soon as we have an update, we will let you know here. I just checked on the internal ticket for this, and it looks like it should go out in the next maintenance release (I can’t guarantee this though).
If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterGreat! No apologies needed – I’m glad it’s working for you now 🙂
If there’s anything else I can help with, please let me know.
