Removing blue info box at bottom of event featured image

Hi,

If you look at this event, the graphic has the date/time in a blue semi-transparent box at the bottom of the featured image.

How can we remove this on all pages? I’m guessing it’s either CSS or something in a PHP file but not sure where.

Hi Abraham,

You can remove that section by hiding it with CSS or by customizing the single-event.php template by following the instructions in our themer’s guide. Avada does add its own styling to our themes, so instead of copying over the default template from the plugin, you may want to start with the one found at wp-content/themes/Avada/tribe-events/single-event.php. Once you’ve copied it over, you can delete that section from the template.

We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know. I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
