    Hi Wouter,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

You can, in fact, check out with PayPal.  If you get to the Select a payment method screen, you will see a PayPal tab.  If you click on that tab, it will take you to PayPal to checkout.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Add Venue & Organizer to Import #1411964

    Hi Robert,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

When importing a feed from a given source, the venue and/or location should be imported along with it (if it is entered in that way).  Of course, each source has its own rules about how information is imported, and our hands are slightly tied in that regard.

You can also import venues and other information via CSV, if that is something that you are interested in:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/

If your imports have venues attached to them and they are not being imported, please provide me with a URL to a feed that is not working properly and I can go through some testing on my end.

Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jerry,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Unfortunately, out of the box, we do not have this feature available.  Our Community Events and Community Tickets plugins are the only ones that allow for front-end submissions at this time.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Meredith,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I do see an error on your site that your Google Maps API is included multiple times on that page.  Sometimes that can cause some strange issues to occur.  As a first troubleshooting test, can you try to ensure that the API is only included in one place?  Sometimes it is included on your theme, within our plugin, and other places as well.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi John,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Unfortunately if you have tried all of the solutions provided in the forum thread that you linked to, there isn’t a whole lot that we can do to help right now, as this is currently logged as a known bug in our system.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jake,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that your site is running slowly with use of our plugins.

As a first step, please have a look at our Performance Considerations and see if there is anything you can adjust in order to help your site run better:

After that, you may be interested in caching, so take a look at this article:  https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/

In addition, you can check out some of the solutions provided in this forum post:

in reply to: Export and Import Events from old website to new one #1411944

    Hi Yaron,

Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!

You should be able to migrate your events from your old site to your new site using WordPress’s Export/Import System.

I would recommend exporting and importing the venues and organizers first and then the events.

You can also import data from a CSV file, which it looks like you have ready to go.  You may need to edit the fields so that they are readable for Events Calendar PRO.

Here is our tutorial on this topic:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Cannot get Eventbrite tickets plugin to sync with Events #1411941

    HI Faiy,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are unable to sync your events with Eventbrite!  As a first troubleshooting step, can you update your Events Calendar PRO to the most recent version (v4.4.20.1) and see if the issue still occurs?

If it does, can you provide me with the Eventbrite URL that you are trying to import?

In the meantime, have a look at our New User Primer to ensure that everything is set up properly.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Refunded Tickets Bug #1411936

    Hi Hayley,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

We appreciate the time that you’ve taken to temporarily fix this issue and appreciate your feedback.  However, we are actually aware of this feature, as it is outlined in our Knowledgeable article on How to Refund or Cancel a Tickets Order, under Attendee Considerations.

We intentionally leave it up to the site administrator to decide whether or not to leave refunded or cancelled attendees on the list.  You do have the option to delete the attendees from the list, which will not allow them to check in.

    Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Gregory,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Here is the .zip file for the QR extension:

    tribe-events-snippet-hide-qr-code

You can remove the Security Code and Ticket Number from the Confirmation email using our Themer’s Guide  and overriding the event-tickets/email.php template.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Valentina,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to clarify, are you seeing the wrong date appear on Google or on the site itself?

In the meantime, here are some forum posts that have some more information about how to properly display your data in Google:

    Hi Ian,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

in reply to: Replenish Stock Counts #1411904

    Hi Sneha,

If you go to your Edit Event Page, what do you see for the Available Tickets there?  Would you mind taking a screenshot for me.  Also, if you delete the Attendees with refunded/cancelled tickets, does the ticket count correct itself?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Urgent: Add event functionality #1411901

    Hi Shah,

Can you provide me with the system information for both of those sites, so that I can compare them?  You can do so in a private reply.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

In the meantime, it looks like your community rewrite slug is different than the main log-in screen for that site.  I assume you wanted the main screen to be the Submit an Event page, correct?

The Submit an Event page is located here: https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community/add

The URL you provided is this: https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community-add/add

You can try changing that, then you may want to flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
