I use all your plug ins on two following sites. All plugins and theme are the same with latest updates. The Sdd event link URLS are different on both sites- Pharmaevents.com
https://pharmaevents.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=tribe_events
- MedicalEvents.com
https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community/add
By the way the first one does not mention community event add
December 21, 2017 at 6:33 am #1410794Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Shah,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m glad you were able to resolve your first issue. In regards to your second question, it seems that these links are for different pages. The first link prompts a log-in for your main page, while the second link prompts a log-in for the Submit an Event page.
Does this answer your question? Let me know if you need any further clarity.
Thanks,
Jaime

The link(that I created copying from defalut Slug under community events-to add event) for medicalEvents.com has the following URL address and takes it a different looking screen if login required:
https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community-add/addWhile The link for pharmaevents.com that got created has the following address for submitting a community event:
https://pharmaevents.com/events/community/addWill you please mind visiting my both sites, register and add a test event.

December 22, 2017 at 12:47 pm #1411901Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Shah,
Can you provide me with the system information for both of those sites, so that I can compare them? You can do so in a private reply.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, it looks like your community rewrite slug is different than the main log-in screen for that site. I assume you wanted the main screen to be the Submit an Event page, correct?
The Submit an Event page is located here: https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community/add
The URL you provided is this: https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community-add/add
You can try changing that, then you may want to flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
December 22, 2017 at 3:54 pm #1411992ShahParticipantThanks Jamie for responding to my request during holiday season:
I do not know know what is the best link to add an event. Previously it was the same on both sites. Generally when a user click on submit event it takes them to a login or register page. Please visit MEDICALEVENTS.COM and click on submit event on the top menu and see the link as well as the page it takes you.
Do the same for Pharmaevents.com and look at the URL and register / login page.
The first one looks better.Anyway, I did click on the button on both sites for sharing information with you to look at.
Once again I appreciate your help
January 1, 2018 at 4:54 am #1415569Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Shah,
Happy New Year!
I apologize for the delayed response, as I was away for the holiday. Anyway, as a first step, I would recommend changing the slugs on your medicalevents.com site. You can do this by going to Events Settings < Community and changing your Community Rewrite Slug to
community
and Save Changes. After that, you may want to flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.
The URLs on the sites for your Submit an Event pages should look the same after doing this.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
