    Hey Jim,

If you find bugs or have specific feedback, feel free to send that over to [email protected].

The only thing we don’t provide is technical support services.

    • See a weird bug with, for example, recurring events? You can let us know any time.
    • Want to tell us how much you despise the plugin, or how much you love it? You can let us know know any time!
    • Want access to the same support forums and in-depth assistance as our paying customers? This is the only thing we do not provide for nonprofit licenses.

    Cheers,
    George

    Thanks folks!

A maintenance release is coming very soon which should help with these issues to a degree.

    Stay tuned!

    Sincerely,

    Hi there,

You can share screenshots by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.

    Hey Sebastian,

Thanks for your follow-up. You mentioned this and I would like to address your question:

Also it’s confusing, your tutorials talk about being able to select a base theme or template, could that be it?

To change the template, head to Events → Settings → Display in your wp-admin, and there you’ll find an option called “Events template”. You can try out all of the available templates if you think it’d be useful here.

In regards to singl-event.php, there are two separate single-event.php files. Make sure you open the src/views folder in your copy of The Events Calendar (and also in Events Calendar Pro) and explore ALL of the files in ALL of the folders in this main src/views folder. You might be using a different single-event.php template than the one you want.

Tinker around with things, and be sure to keep good backups of your customizations along the way so that you can undo mistakes anywhere along the way.

Best of luck with your customizing!

Your feedback is appreciated, @Benjamin, and we actually tend to agree that a smoother integration of that feature would be better.

At this time, though, it is just not possible inside of our plugins. What Josh described is the current functionality. 🙁

There are no immediately-upcoming changes arriving that will alter this for now. I’m sorry to disappoint!

Let me know what you think and if there are any other issues I can try to help with.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey there,

    Sorry for the delayed response!

I’m glad there’s some progress here. In regards to your question, you should be able to update everything to 4.1 (and The Events Calendar to 4.1.0.1) now without issue. This does include Events Calendar Pro and Community Events.

    Cheers!

Sorry for the delayed reply here!

Unfortunately, our plugins do not provide that sort of display or functionality out-of-the-box. 🙁

To get that sort of display, you would have to write custom code yourself to make it happen or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

    Sorry to disappoint!

    Thanks Rory!

I still do not see the code there! 🙁 See the file here → http://mylocalpocatello.com/wp-content/themes/themify-ultra/style.css?ver=1.3.7

The bottom of the file does not include the CSS I recommended.

Sorry for the trouble here. 🙁

    Hey @twkmedia,

I appreciate your follow-up here, and am sorry about the slow pace here.

I have indeed been able to reproduce some problems with time syncing in imports—a few smaller bugs have actually cropped up related to all of this, so I am hopeful that our next release will make some progress here. In our next release, we have some fixes related to timezones that should hopefully make a difference.

I cannot thank you enough for your patience; real sorry for the trouble here!

We could be publishing our maintenance release as soon as tomorrow, March 30—though it could be a few days behind. Stay tuned!

Thank you! I know how frustrating issues like this can be, and am sorry we don’t have a specific ETA for a fix, but we’re working on it.

To keep things organized, I will close this thread just because there is not a definitive conclusion we can arrive at, at this time. However, if this is ever fixed, it will be announced in two locations:

    http://theeventscalendar.com/blog
    • the plugin changelog

So, keep your eyes on those locations whenever a new release is available. A fix for this will be noted there once it finally arrives!

Until then, best of luck with your project—and if other issues arise, open a new thread here any time.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hi there,

The code already shared for the other issue doesn’t quite get us into place to develop further things here. And yes, in the other thread I admitted that the functionality would be good in theory. Regardless, though, the feature still does not exist. Making that feature exist is a large customization.

And so since we cannot make large customizations here, there are two options:

    • Hold out for some future, unknown date to see if this maybe ends up included in the plugin by default.

    • Hire someone to build what you want.

I’m sorry about these facts of the matter.

    Sincerely,
    George

Thank you for sharing all of this!

Your calendar plugins are all up-to-date, but since I still cannot recreate the issues you report, I’m wondering if there’s a theme or plugin conflict on your site.

To investigate this, I would recommend doing all of the steps listed here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

After EACH STEP in that process, go back to where the non-working “View more” link is, and see if anything improves with the functionality here.

Let us know what you find!

    Thank you,
    George

    Thank you for this information!

The plugin versions are up-to-date, so I’m wondering if we can explore that specific failed order a bit more. Can you address these two questions?

    1. Does this discrepancy exist with only that ONE order, or has it happened more than one time to your knowledge?

    2. Was that inconsistent order a “manually-added” order, or anything? I.e. did a site admin create the order, or was it a “normal” order bought on the front end by a customer?
