ParticipantHi,
I just bought the events calender pro and Event Tickets Pro. When setting up a recurring event (every monday through friday) it does not display the exact date a person chose when buying a ticket inside the ticket email they receive. This should be possible right? This will raise a lot of confusion..
How can I fix this??

ParticipantIn addition to my message above, I see that it probably needs custom code.
Links of resources:

Thank you.

ParticipantHey Pascal2000,
Custom coding is indeed required here, but we unfortunately cannot help with that coding. 🙁 I’m sorry to disappoint!
Read more about the scope of product support here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).

ParticipantHi George,
I find it strange that I need to pay additional fees and hire a programmer for something this basic which your plugin should provide out of the box. Your own comment on this in the support thread above “I think your critique of this aspect of the checkout for tickets is not invalid, at all – I can definitely see the benefit of having this as part of the default functionality of the plugin.”.
You have build custom code for this customer, I just need to have it tweaked so it shows the actual date of the event, something that is also mentioned in your reply. I’m just not capable enough to implement this myself, so your help on this would be great. With your ground work already in place, I hope you can help me out.

ParticipantHi there,
The code already shared for the other issue doesn’t quite get us into place to develop further things here. And yes, in the other thread I admitted that the functionality would be good in theory. Regardless, though, the feature still does not exist. Making that feature exist is a large customization.
And so since we cannot make large customizations here, there are two options:
• Hold out for some future, unknown date to see if this maybe ends up included in the plugin by default.
• Hire someone to build what you want.
I’m sorry about these facts of the matter.
Sincerely,
GeorgeMarch 30, 2016 at 12:04 pm #1096063pascal2000
ParticipantAnother question then. I’ve bought new licenses for the event calender pro and the event ticket plus to have the functionality of asking my customers additional information. Setting this up is easy. I’m asking them to choose between different timeslots. But the chosen option does not appear on the tickets they receive. Where do I need to activate this?

ParticipantHey @Pascal2000,
Can you share a screenshot of how you configured your specific “additional information” field for the timeslots? You can do so by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
I will try to recreate the problem.
Then, can you also share your system information with us? Here’s how → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Cheers!
