MemberGood evening Philippe and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have been experiencing while trying to import your event from Eventbrite.
I would love to help you with this topic. And, if you prefer, I would like to offer to continue this conversation in French if you prefer.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, could you provide me with the URL to the event in question so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Daniel and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.
We are sorry to hear about the mini-calendar widget giving you headaches!
I would love to help you with this topic. Before we begin, I am noticing that you are 1 version behind on both the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro version. After a backup, you might consider updating to the latest version (in case that helps).
By the looks of it, it seems that there might be some conflict at play.
Would you mind sharing an URL where this is happening ?
Other than that, our best bet is to go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
My gut feeling is that this might be caused by one of the template overrides found in either the functions.php file of your theme or in it’s /tribe-events/ folder.
If you are up for it, I would love to take a look at that as well. Perhaps you could send me a copy via a link to a .zip file located in Dropbox or Google Drive ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Glenn and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the event image link not being available with your WordPress theme. I would love to help you with this topic.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Secondly, I just ran a test with the vanilla version of twenty-thirteen and it works great on my end. Could you let me know if that’s the case for you to ?
Finally, would you mind sending me a link to your WordPress child theme files (via a .zip file link in Dropbox or Google Drive) ? That way I can take a look at it.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. This is a great question. In short you would need more complex custom recurrence rules (with the ability to add a condition on certain rules) to accomplish what you are looking for.
Unfortunately, this feature is not available, nor have I seen it on our roadmap for the moment. But I strongly suggest you add it here https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas as a feature request.
In the meantime, you have a couple of workaround available:
You could:
- Add a few exceptions to the monthly rule for the months were your “after the first sunday of the month” rule does not work
- Modify them manually (like you have been doing)
- Add specific dates for the recurrence using our interface
I realize either of these will still result in the additional work you are looking to avoid.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.As an alternative, you might want to inquire with one of our recommended customizers to see if they could do this customization for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the calendar not showing up with your WordPress theme.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are 2 things you could do:
- Could you change the setting under Events -> Settings -> Display (Events Template) and see if that makes a difference ?
- Send me a copy (in a private reply) of your theme files via a .zip link (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc..), so that I can run some tests

June 6, 2016 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Some words on single event page template not translating with WPML #1123158Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Tony and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the missing translations with WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic. There could be a couple of things going on:
- Your translatable strings might need to be updated / refresh via the theme and plugin localization interface
- There might be some template overrides in your theme’s folder (under /tribe-events/) that are preventing the translation from kicking in.
I would suggest:
- Updating the translatable strings and looking for the “all” and “event category” strings in the “the-events-calendar” domain
- If you have such a folder, could you temporarily rename it to something like “/z_tribe-events/” ?
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Eva,
Please try the following csv file that contains the fix: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g1wqhkelvpddvm7/test-data-venues111_fixed.zip?dl=0
I have tested this and it works great.
As stated earlier, there is an issue with a specific line that’s causing an extra column.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Keinan,
That’s a great question.
I haven’t looked at your theme files and at your template overrides, but I am pretty sure there was some customization done through your theme’s /tribe-events/ folder.
More specifically in list view related files (more on that in our Themer’s guide).
You will probably need to remove these first. As per your question, I believe the following threads should help you get started:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/add-custom-fields-to-events-list-page/#post-969557
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHello David,
Thank you for writing back and congratulations on finding a solution!
Just to clarify, we are indeed fully compatible with WooCommerce. What is going on is that Enfold has some customizations on how it handles WooCommerce.
Those customizations are preventing our product from fully interacting with WooCommerce. This is why I had made the suggestion of contacting them (so that they can tell you how to get around their customizations).
In any case, the important part is that you have a solution that works and I am grateful that you shared it for everybody’s benefit.
As pointed out earlier, we are working on adding non-latin character support for the calendar slugs.
We will contact you as soon as this is ready.
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
Have a great week!

June 6, 2016 at 8:56 am in reply to: Combiner les modes d'affichage Liste et Calendrier sur le même site #1123037Geoff B.
MemberBonjour Dorian,
Salutations,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening David,
Thank you for your reply and for the links.
I was able to conduct several tests and I have found the cause of the issue.
The problem is with line 30 of wp-content/themes/enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php
if(!is_admin()){
add_action(‘init’, ‘avia_woocommerce_register_assets’);
}If you remove that line, the attendee information can be gathered properly.
This means that something is interfering in the Woocommerce assets defined by the Theme.
You might want to contact the plugin author about this.Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Paul,
This is awesome news, although I have to agree that this is unexpected.
Let me know what you find out from a second pass.
I totally appreciate the fact that you can’t toy with your client’s website.
But, if you were to try it again on the live install, I would suggest doing the following to help:- Deactivate and reactivate the Ticket related plugins
- Reactivate your WordPress theme
- Re-save your permalinks
- Re-save an event where this is happening
Have an awesome week-end and thanks once again!
Best regards,
Geoff B.
