    Hello

I have tried too many times. I am attaching this file, it is supposed to be venues. When I click import, it says PK.

I saved with UNI 8 in Numbers.

    Thanks

    Eva

Good evening Eva and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have been experiencing with the CSV import.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Secondly, would it be possible for you to send me a link to the CSV file you are using (through something like google drive or Dropbox for example) ? This way I could run some tests with it.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hello Eva,

Thank you for your answer, for the system info (although a piece seemed to be missing (when you scroll down from that screen) and the file sample.

I believe I have found the cause of the issue.

When you open the CSV file, there seems to be an extra column at line

Telemark Døveforening Tordenskjoldsgt. 15 Døves Hus Porsgrunn 3921 Norge http://www.tedf.no

If you correct the file by deleting Porsgrunn (or moving it elsewhere in another existing cell) AND by moving every following cell back to the left, the number of columns for each row will be the same and the file will work.

Telemark Døveforening Tordenskjoldsgt. 15 Døves Hus 3921 Norge http://www.tedf.no

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Eva,

Please try the following csv file that contains the fix: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g1wqhkelvpddvm7/test-data-venues111_fixed.zip?dl=0

I have tested this and it works great.

As stated earlier, there is an issue with a specific line that’s causing an extra column.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
